whats the rookie goal scoring record? its half way through the season and he's already maxed out all the incentives in his contract.

Teemu Selänne holds the record w/ 132 points. He had 76 goals.

Ovechkin currently has 32 goals and 58 points.

the kid is incredible...all the hype was on Sydney Crosby before the season started, but Ovechkin is the freakin' man.

He has actually slowed down a bit too. He was on crazy fire earlier in the year. The guy is the real deal.
