the fake wr screen to moss would have scored if brunell would have been more accurate and i think we need to try that again this week in seattle.

Re: WR screen(fake)

THat was a beautifully designed play--Gibbs had it set up perfectly. You only get a few shots a game against a D like that. Sucks we didn't execute. Thank god for our D!!!

Don't be ignorant. Brunell had a tough game...the entire offense had a tough game. Brunell doesn't suck.

Re: WR screen(fake)

If I remember correctly, Brunell was about to get creamed and had to throw off his back foot quickly.

Re: WR screen(fake)

If Chris Samuels doesn't forget how to play left tackle for a night, Brunell's production improves significantly.

They were in Brunell's face all night. What I would have liked to see was a quick little shovel pass to Betts or Portis with both defensive ends on a hard rush to the QB. That's two defensive players completely out of the play.

But with the way Tampa Bay was playing, it wouldn't have mattered what you threw at them, they ate it up. That defense was amazing.

Re: WR screen(fake)

Brunell got pretty good protection in philly and what'd he do there....

I think Brunell can't play injured and he's too worried about losing his job to sit out. I simply can't fathom people defending that game he had. While there were protection issues he also missed wide open receivers when he had time.

Re: WR screen(fake)

Just don't forget that the Bucs had the #1 ranked Defense. From http://www.nfl.com/stats/teamsort/NF...r?sort_col_1=4
which lists the leagues top 5 defenses: (for the 2005 season)
1. Tampa Bay
2. Chicago
3. Carolina
4. Pittsburgh
5. Baltimore
9. Washington
17. Seattle
The top 5 Offenses are:
1. Kansas City
2. Seattle
3. Indy
4. New York Giants
5. Denver
11. Washington
Just to add to the actual posting, Moss did make a great juke. This play works so well sometimes, and then can work so horribly as well.

Re: WR screen(fake)

This is a silly argument, we all know Brunell does not suck, he brought us this far. But it can be agreed upon that he suckED last game, regardless if it was his fault or not.

Lose his job to who? Jason Campbell? That's a given next year, but as of now, he is the captain of this ship and just remember who got us to this point with 23 TD's .

Re: WR screen(fake)

As always I completely disagree with Daseal on QBs. Randall Cunningham still a Hall of Famer, Pele?

1-0 in the Playoffs and if he has a good game in Seattle...you may be on his jock.
