Clayton is out.

Michael Clayton is out for saturdays game against us with turf toe, that should help out with our banged up secondary.

That's because he was injured the first time too.

He ran his mouth about Sean Taylor that week, then ended up not playing.

Re: Clayton is out.

I like our chances a lot more in this rematch with Taylor back in the lineup.

Re: Clayton is out.

Clayton hasn't done anything all year long and the Bucs still went 11-5. The fact that he's out doesn't help us at all.

Edell Shepherd was able to hurt us pretty bad last time. Having Taylor back is a blessing. We're going to need him to help put out some fires that the CBs might start.

Re: Clayton is out.

Clayton has been hurt and or inefective all season. Galloway out would help us...

Re: Clayton is out.

As other people have mentioned, don't underestimate the fact that Taylor is back. Even if Springs plays at 70%, Taylor can make up for it with safety help. I feel VERY confident that Rogers can cover whoever their #2 receiver is as well.

We also didn't have CGriff blowing up in the middle that game either. Our D is so much better with him in there.

No doubt.

With Tampa's suspect O-line I expect Griffin will make a big impact on this game.

Re: Clayton is out.

I didn't realize that two of our best defensive players, Griffin and Taylor were both out in the first game.

Having them back definitely changes things. That, and with the switch that Philip Daniels found and flipped on should give us more pressure on Simms than there was the first time.

The other key is for the offensive line to control the Bucs D, and let Portis and Betts run wild.

These are his numbers for the year. It really does not matter if Clayton is in or out.

Putting more pressure this time on Sims should be easy last game I don't think we even touched him. I feel we can get some pressure this game and make him force some bad throws. It seems in our last several games that our D has become stronger as the game goes on.
