Re: Brunell sucks
I didn't realize Brunnel was playing on defense and thus allowing us to be losing right now. He does look to be a little hindered by the knee but I don't even want to think about where this season might be if we'd stuck with Ramsey. But great way to bail on the guy who's help lead our offense this year :vomit:

Re: Brunell sucks
We're flat on both sides of the ball right now, everyone needs to step the F up and earn this playoff spot.
We can't let the Eagles piss on our season! |

Re: Brunell sucks
Healthy = Brunell ROCKS
Hurt = Brunell SUCKS and that's pretty much it. i really think Ramsey has learned enough from Brunell to be out there when Brunell is hurt. we're all painfully familiar what a hurt Brunell can do to our air game (2004)

Re: Brunell sucks
Yeah, Brunell really scared me, thank god our defense turned it up about 20 notches.

Re: Brunell sucks
What's the matter with you???? He's playing with an injured knee and came up with a HUGE 12yard run to keep the O on the field. Maybe you were just being silly.

Re: Brunell sucks
He was 9-25 against a depleeted Eagles secondary. Yeah he had some good clutch runs to keep drives along, and I will say he DID PLAY HIS HEART OUT, but, I think we still would have won with Ramsey, and this week Brunell could have healed some.
At least we won!!!! YEAH!!! OFF TO TAMPA!! |

Re: Brunell sucks
No ****ing enough. The thing is the reason why Brunell is better for US!than Ramsey: we are a running team ramsey throws INTS. Done Brunell does not throw INTS!!! He wil not get as many yards as ramsey but he is calm cool and collected. We rush for 150+ and that is the type of QB we need.
HE was hurt. I can't believe you want him gone next year. Some people still hold a grudge from last year |

Re: Brunell sucks
brunell was manageable today. Yeah he didn't complete a lot of passes, but give the guy some credit. Without him we wouldn't be in the playoffs.

Re: Brunell sucks
I think he's still a good QB.. but if he's hurt... he's inaccurate, and therefore we risk losing, because we risk turnovers and we turn one demensional. That worries me that we can't put PR in there when Brunell is only about 70% healthy and ineffective... also why risk further injury to Brunell... but oh well...
Brunell should definately be back next year. |

Re: Brunell sucks
New member here, first post.
Brunell looked awful in the first half, but was pretty solid in the second half, almost as if he had more confidence in his knee to be able to plant it firmly. The balls weren't sailing on him as much. But in terms of getting rid of him, besides this being a topic best discussed after the season, you only get rid of someone if you've got a better option. |
