Skins can beat them if they stay relatively healthy on defense. Williams will have to blitz often to get Brady out of rhythm.

BUT IT DOES NOT AFFECT THE OUTCOME???? i just dont get that, how doesnt it. when it gives you an advantage how does it not effect the outcome, if you cheat on a test it doesnt affect the outcome, if you get a head start in a race it doesnt affect the outcome, if you know the coverage or the audible of the offense how does it not affect the outcome. i am sorry but as a division 3 qb, if i knew the coverage i could focus my reads easily. in other words simplified and i knew where to attack it. please dont tell me that you still have to make the throw...please because 3rd string QBs can make the throws if they know where they are going with it. part of learning qb in the pros or any level is learning to read defenses no matter how they line up. knowing the coverage is what its all about as a qb, they read it then make the throw so tell me again how it doesnt affect the outcome...please!
whatever you say donkey.

Re: The I hate the Patriots thread!

The Pats make me sick as well. They are the most talked about TEAM in the league and it is crazy, all the analysts talking about the possibility of going 16-0 after 2 games when they have to go into Indy and Cincy, and they have to host the Steelers and Redskins, as well as playing the Jets again. 16-0 is stupid. Everything is about the Pats I would like to watch a day of ESPN without them mentioning the DAMN Pats in some way, shape, or form.

I don't know if I would go so far as to say I "hate" the Patriots, but they do get annoying. They are a great football team, though, and could realistically go 19-0 this season.

No they could not realistically go 19-0. They will lose at least once, NO WAY in this day and age does someone go through an entire regular season with a blemish, they will either lose to the Steelers, Colts, Ravens, Bengals, or Redskins.

I don't think the Patriots will go 19-0, but no other team since I have avidly watched football has had more of a legit shot of going undefeated.

If a team as good as the Patriots really wanted to, they would have a good chance to go undefeated. The only problem with that is, once they got to, say, 14-0, they would have HFA locked up, and would likely rest many of their starters. This would probably lead to them losing one or both of their last two games. Any team would gladly trade 16-0 for a Super Bowl victory. It's all about the ring!

The Pats have become my 2nd favorite team. I just like how they handle their business. All that crap that went on last week was so stupid. It does not affect the outcome of football games and anyone that is football knowledgeable understands that. And what did they do? Went out and destroyed a very good football team. Like them or not you can't deny that they are great.

Dear half loyal fan,

Believing that cheating does not EFFECT the outcome of the game leaves me wondering how somebody could condone breaking the rules intentionally. Filming your opponents sideline activity/play calls/practice etc. is illegal. A.K.A. cheating. Try cheating at your friendly poker game, nearest casino, on your taxes, with a bookie, in your office pool....I think I have made my point. In those cases you have to forfeit your winnings, and possibly worse. The Patriots should be 1-1. That would stop that behavior quite quick.

My second favorite team is whoever is playing dallas.

Hail

Sorry dude. I've been a Skins fan for 30 years. No need to call me a half loyal fan.

You are right on the money phxredskin...they should have taken away that win, and it showed everyone that cheating could be OK. Might as well try, then if you get caught the punishment will be minor. So the risk outweighs the punishment by far. Might as well try for the reward!
