Jets would probably be the best situation for the Manning family. The two brothers get to compete with each other without competing with each other all the while getting a chance to see each other on a regular basis. I'm pretty sure the parents would like that situation as well.

Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9)
If the Redskins are going to "Ditka" this draft then they should go all the way and try to trade with Indy (needs picks just like the Rams) for Luck, if you are going to blow a load do it right.

Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9)
piggyback off Dirtbag:
Indianapolis - Luck (1st Overall) Washington - Griffin (4th Overall), Henne (FA) Cleveland - Riley Reiff (6th Overall), Jason Campbell (FA) starter to be determined in a training camp competition that McCoy will likely win Miami - Matt Flynn - Matt Moore loses in an 'open' competition New York Jets - Manning (FA) - Seattle - Tannehill (1st Round) - McNabb (FA) starter until/if Tannehill is ready or the team starts losing Last edited by 30gut; 02-29-2012 at 08:14 AM. Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9)
I am just sitting back and watching this frenzy for a QB who has never taken a snap in the NFL....think about it....how much would it take to trade for Brady?....5 draft picks including 2 #1s?
Ya know...if that were proposed, many would say that is too much. But a 1st round QB that may have as much as high as a 50% chance of a flop as many 1st rounders have shown, is worth 5 draft picks? I just don't get it....a month ago, folks were saying he could fall to us, because there was another QB in the mix, now Tannehill has gone from round 2 to #6 overall. This is crazy, I sure am glad the draft is a long way off. Honestly, I have issues of giving up next years #1 and this years #3 for this guy. Sure, he sounds great...but the press has totally flipped...probably to sell a great offseason story when everything is dead. I would be fine if we kept all our pick, signed Manning, got Tannehill in the 2nd round...or lower first and kept all the picks we desperately need to build a team....last I heard there were like 52 guys or so on a team..and about 40 of em could be upgraded. We can only upgrade 7 a year via draft on average, that that means years of being patient to fix the Redskins neglect. Time to take the emotion out of it and put on a cool head.....or go nuts again and win the offseason again!!....I just wish they gave out a football shaped trophy and a fancy ring for that.

Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9)
I agree skinsut, Manning/Tannehill is what I'd like over Trading half a draft for one QB that honestly played against bad defenses all season long.

Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9)
If thats the case then you would only be in favor of drafting QB's from the SEC. Keep in mind these defenses are filled with 4 and 5 star recruits from Texas and Oklahoma a good amount of whom have a shot of playing in the NFL some day. They're not to be taken lightly. And also keep in mind that RGIII dominated these teams through both the air and the ground with an inferior supporting cast.

Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9)
Later. You have to make sure he's healthy by the time draft day rolls around.

Possible interest in Grubbs (not likely), Myers (not likely), Ryan Harris (possible), Marcus McNeill (possible)
