Re: Go ahead, Mock me! Mock Draft 2015

I have two, one if we trade with the Browns and one where we don't:

(No trade)

1st: Amari Cooper WR, Alabama
2nd: Jake Fisher OT, Oregon
3rd: Ameer Abdullah, RB, Nebraska
4th: Ifo Ekpre-Olomu CB, Oregon
5th: Nick O'Leary TE, Florida State
6th: BPA
7th: BPA

If we trade with the Browns (My scenario has us getting their 12th, 19th, and 3rd round pick)

1st: Alvin "Bud" Dupree OLB, Kentucky
1st: La'el Collins OT, LSU
2nd: Byron Jones CB/S, UConn
3rd: Stefon Diggs WR, Maryland
3rd: A.J. Cann OG, South Carolina
4th: Tevin Coleman RB, Indiana
5th: Nick O'Leary TE, Florida State
6th: BPA
7th: BPA

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

Re: Go ahead, Mock me! Mock Draft 2015

I just did this draft on the Fanspeak simulator. Obviously this is without any trades. I actually feel really good about the guys i managed to land. The first 4 to go were Winston, Williams, Beasley, then Cooper.

1. OLB| Dante Fowler jr.| Florida
2. S | Quinten Rollins| Miami Ohio
3. CB | Ronald Darby| Florida State
4. OT | Rob Havenstein| Wisconsin
5. TE | Jesse James| Penn State
6. G | Jamon Brown| Louisville
7. C | Max Garcia| Florida

In rounds 1-3, I was able to add guys who i believe will fill most of the remaining holes on the defense with pretty damn good players in my opinion. I had planned to go offensive line with some of these early picks but I love all three of those players so i couldn't resist picking them.

For rounds 4-7 my goal was pretty much to help RG3 (or whoever our quarterback will be for most of the season) as much as possible. In order to do this I tried to patch up the line as much as possible with big maulers and road graders who were 310+ lbs. Some of them fell as far as they did not because of a lack of athleticism, but because of unrefined technique. I think Coach Callahan could help them out with that. As for the TE, Jesse James, I think he could come in and be a good insurance policy to Jordan Reed and would add tight end to our roster who is capable of blocking.

I believe that all of these players could come in and compete for a starting spot on this roster from day one so i was pretty excited that the draft simulator fell this way.

I wouldn't mind Cooper honestly or even white but my favorite is williams, I just believe he's a can't miss player and an instant probowl guy day 1. Fowler also
