For Brunell!!

Many years ago I was living "abroad" for a year and the NFL teams that were covered were the Titans and Jets so I always kind of followed them over the past 15 years and now that I'm living in NY it's kind of fun to cheer the Jets on, even though I know they have many flaws and are a bit of an assholish team.

Haven't changed my preseason SB pick of Atl vs NE though

Lol, Jackson with excessive celebration. Then again, CBs and WRs often have egos.

Too bad we never had a shot to draft him. Oh wait.

Effing killing me in fantasy right now. Because of that little showboater I need 42 combined points right now from Adrian Peterson and Ahmad Bradshaw to win one of my playoff games.

Alright, we competed against them for 1.5 halves since the 2nd half of the first game was reeeeaaaaallly close to a dud half as well.

We did (with Vick injured for 3 quarters), but they are 5x the organization we are and it's not even close. Young, fast, smart, disciplined, draft well, spend wisely, build from within and focus on the trenches, changed Vick from a disgraced felon to an MVP candidate, raped us on the McNabb trade, the list goes on and on and on.

I know they're the Eagles and we're supposed to hate them, but I really find myself enjoying watching them play this year (aside from the 59 point debacle on MNF).

Re: Around the NFL (Week 14)

I was happy to see Jason Campbell have another very nice day. He was smoking with a 127 rating and over 300 yards with a pair of TDs and no picks. Good for him. He's quarterbacking a better team than McNabb is right now.

Oakland definitely has some budding young talent, especially at the skill positions. Ford, Reece, McFadden, Bush are all vital to them on offense. Rolando McClain also gave them immediate impact. Heyward-Bey may not have been worth the 1st rounder, but he does give some sort of threat to nickel corners.

Campbell hasn't been asked to do too much, but he hasn't shat things up badly over there and I'll admit that he has improved some aspects of his game. I think it's quite evident that JaMarcus really was a ton of lead to that team.

Their OL still needs work, but they did hit on Jared Veldheer, who was someone who would have fit here too.

Al Davis may be going senile, but let's give credit where it's due, he's built a better team than we have. They're undefeat in their [suddenly improved] division so far and that's not really easy since San Diego is a quality team.
