Gibbs would have said....I'm sorry...I made a big mistake ....but Shanny takes his time to come up with an alibi to push blame to someone else. That is the arrogance that I've been expecting to surface since he became coach...it became apparent with Haynesworth....and now this. What a moron decision. McNabb is arguably the best talent out of 30+ offensive players....and the only one with the abilty to win that game...I know...lets bench him and put in a nobody in terms of talent. Hell...I'd rather him run the wildcat with Banks at that point.

Some slack is cut on game days, because the collective IQ on the board drops 100 points on game days

I wouldn't say he's the sole reason for the loss today, but .....

I am happy that Shanny isnt in love with the players the way some of the previous coaches were and isnt afraid to make bold moves like this. |

Grossman was ineffective, but mainly ineffective because the O-line was being pushed back into him.
I'm not saying that Grossman is better than McNabb or that he should start, but his suckitude was not just him. It's a combo of him and the OL shitting things up.

Re: Mcnabb appears to be done and he is the reason for this loss
I am upset that McNabb through into triple coverage; it was foolish when the offense didn't have to do anything there since the 'skins were winning. But, He was beating into a pulp. The decision to bring Gross in was a terrible idea. We were in a position to win the game with a touchdown.
Why let someone play 58 minutes if you don't think they are your best option to score a touchdown when you need it? Regardless, I give Mike Shanahhan 5 years before you hear a peep out of me about a bad decision. I'm tired of a coach making a bad choice or play and we tear them a part and want them fired. I think this was a terrible mistake, but McNabb and Shan together for three years is the way we are going to build a team. |

I can't believe the wisdom of Mike Shanahan is being challenged already. We're only half way through the season and if I've been listening correctly, this is not what I expected this soon. I ask myself the question, why would McNabb want to resign with the Redskins?
