If we a have a decent ref crew which i doubt in washington we win 9-3. At home the defense has been facing 2 oponents (the refs with weak calls, and our incosistant offense) while the offense has to fight 2 ( themselves and refs).

We have the talent on O to be a offensive juggernaut, when they realize that and stop making stupid mental mistakes we'll win. but lewis will put everything in the box and try to force us to throw, which means problems.
Remember, our defense is the biggest threat for Carson Palmer. He's not going to be able to throw down field on our secondary. I see Brunell coming out and throwing in the pocket to Portis on the dump-off pass. Gibbs will add one or two deep passes in the first half. After that, Portis will wear out the Bengals defense. I have a strong feeling this defense finally gets the recognition from the media that it deserves after this game. Only one RB has run for 100yds. against our defense and Rudi Johnson won't be the second.

The Bengals stack the line and stuff Portis early, causing the Redskins to go the air.

Brunell responds by going 2-15 in the first half, with 1 int and 1 fumble, both returned for TDs.

We are losing 14-0 at the half.

In the locker room at half time, Gibbs turns towards Don Breaux and says, "Boy, this guy (Brunell) sucks ass. I wish we had someone else we could put in there," to which Breaux responds, "Well, we have two back-up quarterbacks - Ramsey and Hasselbeck."

Gibbs looks at Breaux in shock and responds, "Holy shit, I thought those two guys were our kicker and punter."

Ramsey goes in the second half, throws three touchdowns, and we win 21-14.

im not afraid of carson palmer or rudi johnson. the only person on their offense id be worried about is chad johnson, but i think our corners and sean taylor will not let many passes get to him, and i think the blitz will really mess with carson palmer. i see us winning this game 20-6, i dont think the bengals will get any touchdowns.

I think the Skins' will win. I think our defense will be awsome again, and Portis should be enough to keep us moving and lead us to the win.

Brunell....hem..... if he sucks again... nevermind. Redskins 14-3

The following week, Ramsey starts, it's a play action pass Ramsey takes the sack. 2 down. Philly blitzes and another sack. 3 down Oh look up in the sky, it's a bird, it's a plane, no it's an INT. Gibbs's looks over at Breaux and says, This f#$2kin kid is gonna make my blood sugar go through the roof." Pull him, he's still not ready. . Future QB my a@#!"
Hasselbeck goes in the second half, throws three touchdowns, and we win 21-14

Unfortunately, any sort of playoff talk ends this week. This prediction only changes with Ramsey starting, but as long as its Brunell:

Bengals 24
Skins 13

once again, to put your mindless ramsey bashing in perspective, hassleback has a consistantly lower QB rating, lower YPA, higher turnover ratio... HE'S WORSE... ramsey has more TDs than ints, hasslebeck doesn't. last year ramsey had 5 blockers, this year there's usually 7-8... hasslebeck doesn't have a great arm either.

but you're more than welcome to keep on hating, just know that the facts say that you're wrong.

The bengals come out and stack the box at the begining of the game say they only lose this game by us passing the ball. THey come on a blitz and knock brunnel out of the game. Ramsey comes in a while no spectacular connects on some easy middle to long range passes. In response the bengals back, then portis takes over. Then playaction pass to Coles. Defense is solid all game. Skins really behind Ramsey and win big. Brunnel is out of the year.

I think I'm coming to the realization that Brunell may never break out.

I heard Lenny P on ESPN radio the other day and as much is it hurts, I had to agree with what he was saying. He thinks Brunell has basically lost it. He said when he saw him in camp he saw a guy who's athleticism had faded, and his arm strength and accuracy were lacking.

I'm still holding out hope that perhaps Gibbs has seen something that we haven't. That maybe he'll have that breakout game soon and the light bulb will turn on for him.

I'm done waiting for that breakout game though, it's much easier to keep low expectations of him. That way I'm not losing my cool after every poor outing.

Brunell again throws for less than 100 yards and will be showered with "boo's". Portis will again carry the offense

The defense will do its job. There's no question. But the offense is going to go as far as Taylor Jacobs takes them. Lewis will put 8 in the box to stop Portis. With Jacob's speed and crisp routes he will be the only guy to get any seperation. If Brunell has any completions, it will be to somebody that is WIDE open. Look for Jacobs to have a big day, 7 catches for 120 and a TD. Portis will have 100+ but no TD's again. 13 - 9, Redskins.

It'll be tight, like all the games are with the Skins' D keeping it close. The Bungles pass defense is in the top 3rd in the league, so I expect it will be another sub 100 yd day for Brunell. They are awful against the run, so Portis should have a very big day, which I think will be the difference.

Skins - 13 Bengals - 7
