Re: Apocalypto
I have absolutely no interest in seeing this movie, or just about any movie by Mel Gibson.
I refer back to the South Park episode when the boys were trying to get their money back after saying the Passion sucked. Mel Gibson was a complete lunatic, and I still think about that episode every time I see Mel Gibson.

Re: Apocalypto
Heh... considering the crazy shit i've seen on film, Mel's sense of violence was already Disneyland for me... But the movie was pretty cool, aside from the blood and gore (if you can believe it).

DiCaprio's had a pretty good string of movies though-Catch Me If You Can, Gangs of New York, The Aviator, The Departed

I hate to admit it, but the guy is probably going to have an impressive trophy case before he's done. Why is everyone (general public) freaking out over Apocalypto? I haven't seen it but doesn't it take place in pre-european Central America? Cultures infamous for their brutality and gratuitous religious practices.

Re: Apocalypto
I'd have to give best actor to DiCaprio this year for "Departed." He absolutely killed it on the screen... made Nicholson look amateur, as much as it pains me to say that.
