Um, yes. Second round of the playoffs. I would consider that victories.

He's a classy guy who gave it his best, but in the end he just didn't have enough left in the tank. At least he helped give us some exciting wins over Dallas, and the Jacksonville win this year was great too.

Nice career Mark. Clap, clap, clap. I'll remember the Monday Night Miracle and that is all.

Honestly, if you don't have anything positive to add to the conversation there are plenty of F you Brunell threads already going on. Let's keep this thread positive since that was the purpose of SGG posting it. Let's at least respect the intent of the thread.

Frankly, I hope Collins is the number two next year behind JC. Enough of this gushing over Brunell.
Dude...seriously, let it go. If you don't have anything nice to say about the guy, just don't post here or post your ill-tempered posts in the millions of "F-U Brunell" threads that can be found on every page of this forum.

I guess we differ; we both value results (W v. L) above everything else, I just think class and effort help teams get those all-important Ws. Did Brunell's class deliver us victories? Nope, but I value them nonetheless and think they certainly helped.

I tell you what, our 'character' up until now, has gotten us very little in the win column. And I'm starting to be of the opinion that maybe we have too many 'classy' guys in our locker room.

Not to derail the thread too much, but it's funny how Brunell was benched less than 24 hours ago, and everyone has to "let it go" in reference to their negative feelings towards his performance. Yet, all the Brunell supporters STILL slam [backup Jets QB] on a regular basis. But yeah, let's handle Brunell like an injured puppy...

But I would like to give Brunell props for managing the team fairly well for 2/3's of the season last year. He does seem like a nice guy, and I've actually felt bad at times for slamming him, but that's to be expected when you're a starting quarterback in Washington.

First of all, I don't owe Brunell any nice comments, and I don't think my posts are ill-tempered. And don't tell me where to post either.

MB is a class act and should be commended for his efforts and his patience w/ the media every week. The fact of the matter is not everybody can do what nfl qb's can, in fact about 20 people in the world do it above average. I have often critized mb but have never taken the personal jabs that many on this board do.

I guess you missed my previous post. Here you go in case you missed it:

So, Matty do you think my posts have been ill-tempered?

Nobody attacks Ramsey out of the blue. He gets slammed when the Ramsey lovers try to get a pity party going for him.

They are definitely on the negative side, so as I asked let's respect the intent of this thread and keep it positive. There are more than enough Brunell bashing threads already in existence.

Those that respect his efforts here would like to have an opportunity to voice that without someone pissing on the parade for once.
