Re: The Official Thank You Mark Brunell Thread
Did Brunell's class deliver us victories? Nope, but I value them nonetheless and think they certainly helped.[/quote]
Um, yes. Second round of the playoffs. I would consider that victories. |

Re: The Official Thank You Mark Brunell Thread
He's a classy guy who gave it his best, but in the end he just didn't have enough left in the tank. At least he helped give us some exciting wins over Dallas, and the Jacksonville win this year was great too.

Nice career Mark. Clap, clap, clap. I'll remember the Monday Night Miracle and that is all.

Re: The Official Thank You Mark Brunell Thread
Honestly, if you don't have anything positive to add to the conversation there are plenty of F you Brunell threads already going on. Let's keep this thread positive since that was the purpose of SGG posting it. Let's at least respect the intent of the thread.

Dude...seriously, let it go. If you don't have anything nice to say about the guy, just don't post here or post your ill-tempered posts in the millions of "F-U Brunell" threads that can be found on every page of this forum.

I tell you what, our 'character' up until now, has gotten us very little in the win column. And I'm starting to be of the opinion that maybe we have too many 'classy' guys in our locker room. |

But I would like to give Brunell props for managing the team fairly well for 2/3's of the season last year. He does seem like a nice guy, and I've actually felt bad at times for slamming him, but that's to be expected when you're a starting quarterback in Washington. |

Re: The Official Thank You Mark Brunell Thread
First of all, I don't owe Brunell any nice comments, and I don't think my posts are ill-tempered. And don't tell me where to post either.

Re: The Official Thank You Mark Brunell Thread
MB is a class act and should be commended for his efforts and his patience w/ the media every week. The fact of the matter is not everybody can do what nfl qb's can, in fact about 20 people in the world do it above average. I have often critized mb but have never taken the personal jabs that many on this board do.

Re: The Official Thank You Mark Brunell Thread
They are definitely on the negative side, so as I asked let's respect the intent of this thread and keep it positive. There are more than enough Brunell bashing threads already in existence.
Those that respect his efforts here would like to have an opportunity to voice that without someone pissing on the parade for once. |
