Re: Field Condition
Seattle should be upset after suffering those injuries. Of course, had the conditions been better, Clemons and the kicker would be perfectly healthy and watching the Redskins in the divisional playoffs.

Re: Field Condition
I love grass. But like you said upkeep is essential and it should not look like that in a playoff game.

They need all of the help they can get. The dirt field helps our safeties more than it hurts our WRs.

Re: Field Condition
Well, it's kind of looking like the media might be "forcing" a change at Fedex in regards to the field, whether if we like it or not:

Not everyone thinks turf is the answer to safe playing fields

The stadium recently installed removable AstroTurf to be used for non-NFL events. For Texans games, workers piece together more than 1,200, 8-by-8-foot palettes of real grass with forklifts. Hartmann caught his left foot in a seam between palettes and was placed on injured reserve. The lawsuit says Hartmann suffered a "significant and career-threatening injury." |

Re: Field Condition
Well, if it really does help to cut down on injuries, especially serious injures, then I'm all for it. It would certainly make Fed Fex Field look better.

Re: Field Condition
Hope the Redskins just start to build a new stadium, hopefully where RFK is or in northern VA. 1 billion dollar stadium please.
