You can never have too much depth, but Springs, Harris, Rogers, Wilds, Rufus Brown, seven safeties, and (dare I say it?) Jimoh should provide us with enough to make it through the season.

I think LemonADE has something on Dan Snyder? Maybe like compromising pictures, or telling financial statements ... whats the deal? He really is bad, how can so many of us be wrong! Man, maybe he has something the coaches see and we dont ...

I think three of those guys are good corners (harris as a nickel) and wilds might become good... but the only safety we've got that i've seen play corner well is taylor, and he only does it a couple times a game. Last year we got enough injuries that ade was forced onto the field and got burnt bad, and i really don't like seeing that...

Re: Why was Artrell Hawkins put on injured reserve?

Hawkins is hurt; the Redskins are going to pay him an "injury settlement". He probably would not have been ready to play for the first several games.

So, my guess is that the coaches figured that Hawkins wasn't that much better than what they have in camp now in terms of guys who can actually play now. Translation: He wasn't worth waiting for.

See if Hawkins hooks on with any other team when he is a full-fledged free agent. My guess is that he won't go anywhere until he is ready to practice and play full time and that could be October.
