Hurricane Relief Thread

Hi all,
First of all, I know the Locker Room is really a football only forum, but it is the most viewed so I wanted to start this thread here. As some of you know, I live on the Jersey Shore, and we were devestated by Hurricane Sandy. I am very fortunate as my house is not damaged and I have power restored. Therefore I am in a position to help those who were not as fortunate. I have many friends and family members who lived in what the Emergency workers are now referring to as "Ground Zero". I have reached out on Facebook, and to my Company through their email for donations. I figured that I would do the same here, so with Matty's blessings am asking for supplies to be sent to my house so that I can get them to where they need to be. Clothes, blankets, pet food and supplies, batteries, toys for kids, baby food, food, cleaning supplies, bottled water - etc, etc. If anyone has anything they can donate it might mean the world to some of these victims. You can inbox me for my address, and than ship it rite to me. Thank you in advance for anything at all that you can donate. There is still a long road to recovery, and even though so many donations have been made - many more are going to be needed in the coming months. God Bless.

There is a make shift store , "free store" that is up and running now here in Toms River. I dont believe things may be shipped rite there because it is temporary. Im using my house as a drop point for anything at all that anyone can donate. I know it is not dominating the news anymore but there are still alot of displaced families up here that need help.

Re: Hurricane Relief Thread

We are in the process of going through all my daughters cloths and most of the stuff looks brand new and would be more then happy to send them your way. What else is needed at this time that is worth mailing your way. The reason I say worth mailing is that mailing 90 cent cans food cost efficient. My club talked about sending money so maybe I can get some funds sent with the cloths.
