Yes he's still a tool bag. He showed up at a kitchen unannounced looking for a photo op. It's obvious he washed a dish or two, but realistically the man (and his family) did nothing. Did they put in 8 hours slaving over the stove or washing dishes?

Yes. Still a tool bag.

This part still has me cracking up.

Notice how smooth Obama is during this whole time. Chill as hell. He makes me want to vote for him because of his demeanor and coolness factor. Had he not signed the NDAA/Patriot Act and did a few other things he promised not to do, I probably would be voting for him.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election (free for all edition)

Romney still doing better then Obama on the economy but it's probably better then it really looks as he gets to propose his policies in a vacuum where he doesn't have to compromise with a Democratic senate. Much like Obama had many proposals pre-election 2008 that never projected a Republican House.

Still I continue to like what Romney brings to the table in terms of helping the economy and the overall goal of making businesses want to come here instead of, what feels a bit like forcing them to love us like the Obama administration wants to do ("pay your fair share" "Get rid of tax breaks for big oil"). And as anyone who's been in a relationship knows you can't force someone to love you.

Right now I'm going with Romney and seeing what the next four years brings. If he does well then I hope he wins in 2016, if the economy continues to falter then I pray like hell that Hillary has enough energy to run again because the truth is she should be President right now. As always though in supporting the GOP I'm gambling on social issues that are important to me like abortion, gay marriage, and an over involved foreign policy.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election (free for all edition)

I will say this though the bickering back and forth, while it made for great television to me it was scary as hell especially with the fiscal cliff coming up. I mean part of the reason we're dealing with the fiscal cliff is heavily partisan politics and if we can't have a civilized debate in a town hall format what does that mean for the upcoming congressional session?

Actually he did not call it an act of terror. Romney was right and the moderator needs to shut the F*&k up if she does not know what she is talking about.

When your facts are from talking points written by imbeciles your reality tends to get warped and this is the results. Even worse, what he is arguing for is that Obama should immediately call it an act of terror before having all the facts.

It's pretty disheartening to think that a large number of our population thinks Romney is capable of leading this country.

Whats disheartening is after 4 years people still think Obam can lead this country with his poor record.

BTW Romney was correct on the issue after the facts have been checked.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election (free for all edition)

Romney is holding a rally about a 1/4 down the road from my office. Its at 1:15 and this morning at 9:00 the parking lots were getting full and they had several open fields starting to fill up. I thought about bringing my bike to work and riding down there but I just don't have the time.

Governor Mitt Romney will hold a campaign rally Wednesday at a local community college in Chesapeake.

Governor Romney will speaking at Tidewater Community College located at 1428 Cedar Rd. Romney is scheduled to speak at 1:15 p.m.

Doors open at 10:45 a.m. Tickets are required for those wishing to attend the rally. The free tickets were available at TCC, Gov. Romney's campaign office in Virginia Beach and online. Anyone needing tickets can obtain them online leading up to the event.

Chesapeake's Public Works Department wants motorists in the area to be aware of possible traffic delays around TCC that might be caused by Gov. Romney's visit.

Elizabeth Vaughn with the City of Chesapeake said Cedar Road in the area of TCC could be affected. Drivers may also experience delays around Bells Mill Road, which also runs along campus.

Parking will be available at the corner of Cedar Road and Cahoon Parkway. Shuttles will be provided starting at 10 a.m.

WAVY.com will provide live coverage of the governor's visit online and WAVY News' Anne McNamara is scheduled to attend the rally.

The rally comes just a day after the former Massachusetts governor took on President Obama during a town hall-style debate in New York. The president was projected as the winner.

Both will face off in a third and final debate on Monday.

No, he wasn't right and she was.

The transcript does show that Obama said in a Rose Garden speech on Sept. 12: “No acts of terror will ever shake the resolve of this great nation, alter that character, or eclipse the light of the values that we stand for.” That night, he said at a Las Vegas fundraiser: “No act of terror will dim the light of the values that we proudly shine on the rest of the world, and no act of violence will shake the resolve of the United States of America.”
