Depends, I don't set the price for my product so I have no choice there. If a company decides to increase their prices they also risk loosing business to other company that choose to cut back on employees to keep prices down.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election (free for all edition)

Even Big Bird rejects Obama. LMAO

Feathers were ruffled on Sesame Street on Tuesday when the Obama campaign launched a campaign ad starring Big Bird.

The new spot, which airs on cable networks, mocks Mitt Romney for saying during last week’s debate that he would cut public funding to the Public Broadcasting Service – even though he likes Big Bird.

But Sesame Workshop – the nonpartisan nonprofit behind Sesame Street – wasn’t pleased. In a statement, Sesame Workshop objected to the ad: “We have approved no campaign ads, and, as is our general practice, have requested that both campaigns remove Sesame Street characters and trademarks from their campaign materials.”

ObamaPhone!!!! First Green Energy payoffs to Obama bundlers and donors, now the ObamaPhone scam. Maybe the SEIU should'nt have been paying idiots who unwittingly aired more Obama dirty laundry...

You realize that this really gained traction under Bush, right? The idea has been around since the Reagan era. They have to make less than $15,000 a year to be eligible and they get a whopping HOUR worth of minutes a month. That's not a situation to be envious of -- add in the fact that these are funded by a non-profit entity under the FCC and does not use tax money at all.

Your right but totally wrong:

While not technically a tax, the program is funded by mandatory fees tacked on to consumers' phone bills, then disbursed through the Federal Communications Commission and states.

Re: 2012 Presidential Election (free for all edition)

Here is another link. A mandated fee is the same thing as a tax no matter what you call it. Its also a program where the fee is collected by the federal gov. TAX

Last year, a federal program paid out $1.6 billion to cover free cell phones and the monthly bills of 12.5 million wireless accounts. The program, overseen by the FCC and intended to help low-income Americans, is popular for obvious reasons, with participation rising steeply since 2008, when the government paid $772 million for phones and monthly bills. But observers complain that the program suffers from poor oversight, in which phones go to people who don’t qualify, and hundreds of thousands of those who do qualify have more than one phone.

Actually what he was asking for is smart. Give small business a tax break so they will vote Rep. and extend unemployment (which only gives people longer to sit on their ass) which hurts Obama.

What he was asking for was 50% tax cut and 50% external stimulus spending including unemployment. Pretty much what was in the Obama stimulus.

I am glad you think what he was asking for is smart because I do too.

Thank you. I thought the origanal plan was to give older people and the poor used free phones with free 911 service. Seems that simple idea became a 1.2 billion dollar buy their vote plan under obama. I just had to say that.
