How about you provide proof instead of me doing all your work for you. You want to paint that Mass is paying the highest rates, but fail to see they have the highest income AND that they actually pay less than most states as a percentage of income.

So if I make $100,000 and buy a car for $20,000 I paid less if a guy making $50,000 paid $18,000 for the same car?

You paid less as a percentage of income. His car cost him 36% of his income. It only cost you 20% of your income.
