5 miles from my ex-wife's house. We joked the other week about her, but this is crazy scary for her, fortunately my kids are with me, but her house is 3 street blocks(in North East AND West directions) away from a mandatory evacuation area. This particular wild fire jumped over 2 containment lines last night and now is bearing down on west Colorado Springs. |

Got a good friend in Colorado Springs, texted him bout 1.5 hours ago, havent heard nothing. I cant imagine a more helpless feeling than seeing looming smoke over a hilltop knowing its making its way towards you.

this video (i know it's a pic thread) shows a time lapse from last night where the fire jumped over the two containment lines. you can jump forward to about 25sec mark, but then let it run. Would scare the **** outta me.
