Re: New Twist On Ol' Ballgame
Considering how I usually spank the crap out of the Cowboys in Madden, I'd love to see that (with me at the controls).

Re: New Twist On Ol' Ballgame
Yeah I read the story and found it to be highly intersting. Its obviously a very clever publicity stunt, as its gaining national attention. It sounds like they are going about it the right way, having tryouts, so that the guys are pretty level in their playing. However, I dont know if I like it. Too many things could go wrong, but its minor league so whatever.

Re: New Twist On Ol' Ballgame
Yeah, I wouldn't want the master Xbox player being from Dallas and racking up a few touchdowns over our guy.

Re: New Twist On Ol' Ballgame
quite a novel concept. many, many promotional ideas have come out of the Northern League.
I know this year, the St. Paul Saints had a game start at 5:30am on Mother's Day, so the town and the teams could enjoy time with their families. http://sports.espn.go.com/minorlbb/n...ory?id=2056031 The Saints are owned by Mike Veeck, son of Bill Veeck (think St. Louis Browns using Eddie Gaedal, Disco Demolition Night)
