Yeah, but what difference did that franchise QB make in Carolina this year? They still lost a ton of games.

I'm not saying you need a full deck to go get that QB, but I'm saying that the Giants were loaded in 2004 with talent. It was fortunate for them they landed at the #4 spot so they could make that trade.

We aren't that team. We have too many needs at this point. If we are 3 years removed from a Super Bowl and we are sitting where the Giants were, then by all means I'm for making that move for the QB. Right now, we aren't. Trust me, I want a QB more than you can possibly imagine, but not at the sake of risking it all. Trading 2 drafts of picks would be definitely be putting all your eggs into one basket.

Osi and Tuck are on the Jimmy Fallon show. Damn, that fast?...lol I know it's being broadcasted in Indy, but you'd think they would be worn out from that game to do a show.

Mad props to the Giants,,,thank your for sending those two Patriot pricks home losers for the second time. Great win for the Coach Coughlin, the Mara family, the NFC and the best division in the NFL.

Re: Official Super Bowl Thread

Someone explain this part of the half time show to me. At this point the phrase is just a parody of itself. Is some warlord going to see this and say "hmmm those American Hand Eggs, they make good point". I mean are they doing anything besides arranging the lights to encourage world peace?

I hope the people fighting in Syria saw the "world peace" light show during the Super Bowl.

For me it's not so much where they were picked at, it's the "franchise qb" aspect of it. Brees was also a free agent too. I just believe that RG3 or Luck have the best odds at being that guy we want. Neither of them have real significant flaws that they have to fix in order to succeed in the pros.

The Giants are more lucky than good. I've been saying that all along. That win in Green Bay was a fluke. That win in SF was because of two miraculous special teams turnovers. I will never root for a division rival ever unless it has playoff implications for my Redskins.

Ugh. I hate the Giants as much as the next guy, but tossing out the fluke angle is just weak. Give credit where it's due. They won the SB. End of story.

I love the Skins but I always root for the G Men in the Superbowl. The NFC East now have 12 rings.
