The biggest difference isn't Brown and Hankerson.
Brown appears to be a shorter receiver. Hankerson is a fairly big guy at 6'2 and like 210. Just looked up brown and he is 5'11 187. I agree with everything else you said but that they are pretty much the same player.

Re: Around the NFL week 10

It's probably not fair to Norv that he gets crapped on everytime something goes wrong for the Chargers. In his first four seasons, the Chargers performed as a good, sometimes great team with a moderate amount of success in the playoffs (exactly the level a division leader like them should have produced at). People blamed Norv for that. Now, people are blaming Norv for what's wrong with the Chargers now.

The Chargers have some issues this year that are causing them to not be a good -- or very complete -- team. Again, Norv Turner might not be the best man to correct these issues and right the ship, but these issues could and have happened to all sorts of other teams. Norv shouldn't take extra blame just because he failed to win in Washington and Oakland.

Or put another way:

Mike Shanahan (14 seasons), AFC West Titles: 3
Norv Turner (4 seasons), AFC West Titles: 3

Of course, Shanahan's Broncos also finished 10-6 two times and 11-5 another time but did not win the division. And one of Norv's division titles came with an 8-8 record (same record as Shanahan's Broncos and as Zorn's Redskins...who finished last in the division)

FWIW...

The folks at Football Today have been alluding to there being something wrong with Rivers physically.

No worries, there was a story on this morning about Tony Romo and if he would have a good day.

Ugh.

Probably the ONLY QB where there was a full story about his preciousness and his performance today.

Yes, my hate for him is not natural.

Re: Around the NFL week 10

Unbelievable...

Broncos up 10-0 with this QB...

Tebow - 0-for-4, 0 yds passing!

That HAS to be a first, right?? ZERO yards passing in one half?? And winning by 10?? lol... wow.
