In weeks 1 and 2, Grossman was good, very good. Everyone was singing his praises. He has one bad quarter (much like Romo did) and now Grossman is the one getting crucified. Hero to Zero.

What happens in week 4 if Grossman goes 28-32 325 yds and 2 TD's and 0 INT?
He probably will. Thats Grossman.

When was the last time Dallas was held without a TD? They broke Romo's 20-game streak of consecutive games with a TD pass.

You're going to have games where one side will have to bail out the other. You're also going to have games where the score will be close. What I want to see is SMART decision making throughout, especially at CRITICAL JUNCTURES. Now, an all-out blitz wouldn't necessarily have been a bad thing, IF HE hadn't TELEGRAPHED THE SAME THING TWO PLAYS IN A ROW ALREADY.

Rex Grossman I don't think Beck would be any better but Grossman came out flat and he has to be more aware of the rush and protect the ball.

Kyle Shanahan I'm a big fan, but his playcalling was extremely suspect today. He completely abandoned the run, especially after Hightower had such a nice drive culminating in a TD. It's one thing to be aggressive, but running actually helps you be aggressive. And why make a substitution with no timeouts left in the first half and under a minute to go. We had the momentum going and killed it.

DeAngelo Hall Sure, you can blame Haslett for the all out blitz on 3 and 21 but if you're going to talk the talk like Hall does you better be able to back it up and give your DC confidence that you can handle a 1-1 assignment

Jammal Brown After TW basically handled Ware all night, Brown basically escorted him into the Redskins backfield

People Who Keep Blaming The Media **** all of you

We blew a huge chance tonight to go 3-0 and 2-0 in the division. We're 2-1 which is not 0-3 as some may be thinking after tonight but we can't let repeated chances pass us by as they did tonight.
Agree with all that...and I'll add poor effort by Brandon Banks in the kick and punt returns. He seemed to be more hesitant than usual. With his speed, he is good when he takes the ball and goes vertical . Last night I thought I was watching Randle El dancing around again. He never gave the offense a short field, which is his sole purpose in life. I'll give the Cowboys some credit for good coverage, but with the number of opportunities he had, I was disappointed.

I understand everything you're saying, but I think it's wrong. It's insulting to turn on MNC when the Skins are playing, and have to see the whole 90 minutes devoted to our rivals. Romo's one thing but to spend so much time on Vick... it's a slap in the face. Guess we've kind of earned that treatment though.

I still say it's time for SSPN.

They should have given two full minutes to a graphic where Rex is compared one-by-one to every other starting QB in the NFL as of Week 3 in 2011 with a simple question:
Which guy do you want NEXT WEEK under center for your team?
I don't think Rex is anywhere near the "Top Ten" in that exercise. In fact, he is somewhere in the "Bottom Ten". Now if the MNF Countdown folks wanted to do an in-depth bit on the Skins, that is a comment that could have launched them onto a real analytical course.

SmootSmack is right on here. Like it or not, there are other players and other teams in the NFL that are far more interesting and attractive on a national basis than the Redskins. ESPN is NOT trying to play to the DC/MD/ VA market alone; they want a national audience.

Folks here like to talk about how the media hates the Skins. That is not really the case. Actually, I find it interesting how much the folks here hate to hear just about anything positive regarding other teams and players on other teams.

I don't think Beck will start unless Rex gets hurt, IMO he's done a decent job

The fact that the Redskins sport the #1 defense in the NFL on 3rd down was not lost on the Cowboys coach either.

Im not saying he has not done a decent job, I would say he did a terrible job in Dallas.

So my question to you is... If he repeats his latest performance this week do you think he will continue? I realize there is no way of knowing Shans intentions or plans, Im just trying to get a feel for what you think. Are you saying Grossman can play the rest of the season like he did in Dallas in no danger of being pulled except by injury?
