I wish Hall would keep quiet, though he does blame himself often. He's such a polarizing figure

I'm not as upset about his tendency to shoot off in front of a mic as I am about his tendency to get in the face of opposing players who have just converted first downs. That happened at least twice last night, and it really p***ed me off.

First off Hall did not get burned on the play. The setup was flawed from the start with zero support. No corner could have covered that and Hall did make the tackle. The facemask was a 5 yarder at best but did not deserve the flag at all IMO. Hall never said he would be perfect on every play, he said he was going after Romo, coaches should have given him the chance but they didn't. OK the Hall bandwagon is a little lighter this week. Hall is still one of the best corners in the NFL.

Theres no such thing as a 5 yard face mask penalty anymore. They are all 15 yard personal fouls.
There were questionable calls and no calls on both sides of the ball the entire game.

Yes I know. My point was it was undeserving of a penalty. I thought you would be headhunting me this morning. I would not be so bold if I were you, Dallas looked pretty shitty last night as well.

There isn't a corner in the league that will cover Bryant with that much space to defend when the blitz doesn't get to Romo. I understand D. Hall's frustration being put in the situation, but obviously, he needs to keep his comments behind closed doors.

I think he's a bit of an ass. He can't have it both ways. He's been outspoken about the fact that he wants to cover the opponent's best WR all the time, and then when he gets the chance he wets the bed (L Fitz last week, Dez last night). Then he's gonna cry that he didn't have any help and call out Haslett?

Sorry, D-Hall. You're not elite. I'm glad you've started taking lessons in tackling this year, but when you get what you ask for and don't deliver, keep your mouth shut or take the blame. Crybaby.

The facemask call was bad but they got one too. We got a break on the personal foul when Santana got hit in the chest yet the ref said it was a head shot. Maybe the worst call of the year. Last night the refs were pure garbage.

I agree about the bad officiating. We also got away with at least two false starts that were quite obvious.

I agree with the coach....Coach Mike Shanahan defended Haslett’s decision, saying “You could go back and second-guess everything. At the end of the day, we had a chance to have the sack there, and he did a good job scrambling, made a play, and hey, it happens. That’s the nature of this game. … Hey, it didn’t work, and Romo made a play.”

Had we gotten the sack there, second guessing would not have been an option. The tally would have been what a great job the defense did..... S**t happens.

Re: WP: Redskins’ Hall takes shots at ref and own coaches after 18-16 loss to Cowboys

Hall needs to watch the replay. his hand was on his facemask, right in front of the ref, they are going to call that everytime. He wants to call his own # on blitzes and cover this guy and that guy when he wants (remember last years comments) then his # gets called and he doesn't deliver. I think its bushleague to blame the coaching staff and the refs. He missed the play, it happens. Accept blame and move on. Had he made the int or knocked the ball down he'd be "coach had confidence in my shut down ability and left me alone, thats what I want everygame. I can handle anyone 1 on 1!)

Yeah but when the game's on the line you can't leave Hall exposed on a 3rd a 21. If it were in the 1st or 2nd q then fine.
