Agree completely.
If I were the Cowpukes I would be worried about the ineffectiveness of their Red Zone offense. Granted we were not great but neither was Dallas.

Re: Smoot Lays the Smack Down (Redskins at Cowboys)

My smackdown goes to Rex Grossmans speed and girly hands.

Good God I'd rather have Trent Williams w/ the ball scrambling out to the left then Grossman.

Grossman even was looking behind him and still couldnt stop from fumbling. He is so damn slow. If he gets touched he fumbles.

Grossman is who he is. If he starts all 16 games he is good for about 30 total turnovers counting Int's and fumbles.

That being said he should still get the start vs. the Rams. Too early to pull him.

What do we do though? Do we stick with the idea that we know Rex will have bad games from time to time and hope that next week could be a 4 TD 0 int rebound performance or do we start entertaining the idea of pushing for Beck to get a chance because I'm with you on the scrambling, it's very painful to watch Rex try and move outside the pocket.

Shannahan made his choice so he is gonna stick with Grossman. Beck is much more agile then Grossman but Shannahan didn't choose that option. I'll trust Shanny and hope it all works out in the end.

I would bet my life if Grossman repeats that performance next week, we will see Beck come game 5.

Put Grossman and Romo in the same pot. You are only as good as your last game (if your name is not Brady or Manning).

Week 1 Romo played lights out for 3 quarters. Then threw an interception in the 4th and he was crucified. The following week, he fractures a rib and plays through it and wins the game and he went from zero to hero.

In weeks 1 and 2, Grossman was good, very good. Everyone was singing his praises. He has one bad quarter (much like Romo did) and now Grossman is the one getting crucified. Hero to Zero.

What happens in week 4 if Grossman goes 28-32 325 yds and 2 TD's and 0 INT?
