Yes, Chrome has add-ons, and in fact my 2 favorites are FlashBlock and AdBlockPlus. Many of the Firefox Extensions have been written for Chrome.

Re: Pimp my Firefox

I'm using Chrome probably 75% of the time on my macbook pro, but it's still a little flakey. Have to break out FF or Safari for certain sites.

Yeah that's why I decided to stick with FF. Chrome would flake out on certain sites for me too, while FF is pretty steady across the board.

Re: Pimp my Firefox

Can't go wrong with either Chrome or Firefox, but once I switched to Chrome, I really haven't had any reason to go back. Now I just use FF for cross-browser testing.

Re: Pimp my Firefox

Chromium-based browsers are so ghey. They can't properly remember the history in my tabs. I have a full load of pages in it, and the next time I start it up, it'll reduce itself to 7 or so entries.

I'm now back to Opera. Much more reliable retention of "back-button" entries.

I like firefox. Particularly the feature that lets me type in something like "ESPN NFL" and it brings me directly to the NFL page at espn.com.

Still Chrome loads around 5 or 6 seconds faster The hub is minimal letting me see more. And it does a good job of giving me quick access to my favorites while still giving me plenty of room to see the page.
