NFL Videos: Redskins 2011 outlook

Jansen couldn't be more right.. Although I haven't heard about Palmer being pursued by us, wonder if he has any inside info ?

Something we've mentioned here a few weeks ago. Again, like Alex Smith this is just something I'm speculating as is this columnist (we're not the same person)

Kris Jenkins to Redskins could be a good fit - NFL Nation Blog - ESPN

A possible destination for McNabb

Are we still trying to get value for McNabb, or is just a matter of time before he's released?

I think we'd like to get some value, but everything is so up in the air with the labor situation right now

I highly doubt we can persuade a team to give us a third rounder for McNabb, much less a 2nd rounder. I see us trading him for a 5th and 6th round pick. One can always dream of getting that kinda value though........

Probably not a straight up 3rd rounder, but perhaps a 4th that could become a 3rd with certain conditions being met. Or a 5th that could become a 4th, etc.

Not sure if this was posted already or not (sorry for not looking)

NFL -- Allison Glock profiles Tony Washington, the almost-recruit whose past has derailed a future pro career - ESPN

Good story, long but good. I'd go for the Skins giving him a shot, especially if he did something nice with a portion of his earnings. Help his dad and sister out. Start a fund for incest victims, and or be a spokesman for any non profit organizations who help incest victims.

Re: Free Agency/Franchise Tag thread 2011

The guy made a horrible mistake at 16 after apparently being abused and fatherless. It seems he is trying to do the right thing. He has the right type of people saying the right kind of things about him. After eight years with, apparently, no incidences of violence or legal issues, he seems to have put in the requisite time warrant a second chance.

I would have absolutely no problem giving the guy a shot. In fact, I wish we would.

Well, I vote we do not invite Larry Johnson back again:

“We all know people in Kansas City who are not Chiefs fans who have never heard of Larry Johnson,”

Yea me too. I thought via rumor he was around 16 and she was a lot younger, I didn't realize she was just a year younger, not that it makes it ok, but teenagers with hormones kicking being left at home alone with boredom is not a good combination whether family or not. I have a little more understanding considering the sister admits it was just as much her fault and that it was not forced and has not continued. And as mentioned in the article he has kept himself out of trouble since. You can't say that about some other NFL players.

I was hopeing we would sign this guy after the draft last year what do we have to lose IMO it would be a win win situation. He's hungry and has alot to prove.
