Rumor is Sean payton will be headed to Dallas and become their GM. He is building a house in the Dallas area now. Saints deny of course

source?

heard when he first went to N.O. he wanted to live in the Dallas area but the owner was quick to veto that idea

can't blame him for not wanting to raise his kids in N.O. -- can't think of a good reason to raise them in Dallas, but imagining that area means nice suburbs

JJ ready to give up control?!

This would be stunning if true. Would S. Payton walk away from a SB contender in the Saints? I just find it hard to believe.

Not a chance. Why would he throw his current success away and probably take a pay cut? He's a winning head coach now. To go to a mess of a team with a meddling owner? He'd have to be like a John Calipari or Brian Kelly-type personality who is always looking for the next big challenge, never comfortable even when succeeding.

Sounds like a Mike Florio dream.

Maybe he's tired of coaching?
