Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves
I wonder who the Titans owner has in mind. I doubt the owner would simply wait so long after the season, then fire his HC who has done fairly well up untill the last two or three seasons with out having someone in mind or having already made a deal with someone to take over.
I know he will have to go through the whole interview process but you just don't fire a HC like Fisher unless you either have major differences, can't get along, or already have a replacement ready. |

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves
That was the worst night as a skins fan for me because against the giants under zorn we had no chance, I actually thought we were going to beat Philly that night especially when we were fired up in pregame.. Mike Vick completely embarrassed us that night

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves
I think Fisher has done a ton with mediocre talent in a division dominated by the colts.
Of course we wont really know how good he is until the next guy comes in and does worse or better... I think he is one of the most respected Head coaches out there...I know many skins fans wanted him after gibbs and after zorn...I wouldn't have minded it either. Funny...this guy would have been a great match in Carolina...with a team full of average players and a tight owner....he would do well here too...he just would have had to get used to the big cash register. Best wishes to Fisher...I am frankly glad he was not available when the Cowboys were selecting their coach.

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves
It is interesting to note that there is now only 1 head coaching vacancy left in the NFL...it is with the Titans....so if Fisher wants to coach this year, it will be as a coordinator at best. I highly doubt he will coach this year...it is in his best interest to take the year off and get the best job next year....which may possibly be with the skins

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves
I think with Fisher it was just time to move on for both sides. He's been there a real long time and he's butted heads with Adams more than a few times. Plus why would a coach like Fisher want to be stuck under a cheap owner like Adams? He can sit and do TV for a year and pick his job for 2012.

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves
I don't know a lot about Fisher's background. Is he an offense or defensive minded coach? Coordinator before he had the head gig in Tennessee?
