The old Holmgren connection makes sense.

I foresee a spike in "execution issues" in the Browns offense if he gets the job.

I predict a huge spike in runs to the left on first and second down followed by screen passes on third and long.

Those runs to the left always has the FB motioning out to TE position. But it'll be so perfectly executed that it'll take Hillis to the end zone every time!!!

Also, lots and lots of receivers running their routes short of the sticks!

Well with Hue Jackson being the new HC of Oakland, i guess that means that Campbell will be a backup again. Hue Jackson never preferred Campbell to start, instead wanting Gradkowski, so it will be interesting to see how they handle the QB situation...

They'll have to re-sign Gradkowski first. Sadly enough, he's one of the top FA QBs this offseason so there will be a market for him.

Never knew what the knock on Bruce was. Hes a fiery competitor, very scrappy, kinda reminded me of Jeff Garcia when he was young. What Bruce lacked in arm strength/talent he made up for with improvisation on the field, and a connection to his team-mates.

I wish we would have him here, honestly. Plus he's young and has great years ahead of him.

Seahawks have fired OC Jeremy Bates (formerly with Shanahan)

Hawks are close to bringing in McDaniels.. Dumb move to let bates go IMO..

Also there's a story brewing regarding trade talks with dez Bryant, from what I've heard Dallas will not even think about it BUT rumor is they will listen to offers

That's a head scratcher.

I'm sure a subsequent move will make it seem more defensible though.

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves

Carroll let his QB coach go last week too I think. Feeling was that Bates was in over his head, apparently

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves

If in over his head was referring to his ability to help make Ben Obomanu and Mike Williams catch the ball and justify short-sighted contract extensions, then I agree with them. Good luck with the next hire.

The Dez Bryant thing was purely a "What-if" scenario dreamed up by the Dallas media.

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves

My mistake, Jedd Fisch, the Hawks QB coach wasn't fired. He actually left to take a job as OC with the Longhorns (where Jerry Gray incidentally been named DB coach). Now Seattle wants Fisch back as their OC potentially, also talking with local fave Zorn, and I believe Bill Musgrave; along with McDaniels
