Harbaugh seems to be the frontrunner for the 9ers job

I'm sure he'll accept the job, why would he want to move especially with a new born baby. It pisses me off that the Redskins didn't go after him last year.

If I'm him Id take Mich of SF, I know it's the NFL but he'd be a legend at UM.. Plus SF needs quite a bit to compete for a Title run again.

Shanny or Harbaugh? I'd take Mike

I don't remember. If the skins would have made a generous offer I'm sure he would have accepted it.

Sounds like he was close to the Michigan job but then decided he should ask for more. And ultimately Michigan said there's only so much we're willing to offer.

He wasn't interested in taking any NFL job last year anyway

I'm not drinking no koolaid. I live in the SF Bay area and have been following him since he was hired at Stanford and have seen what he has accomplished. He comes from a solid family coaching background (father, brother, himself) 15 years NFL experience. He is the real deal, watch and weep, you'll be sad the Redskins didn't hire him.

I wish him the best, but college and NFL coaching are not the same

How about Jimmy Johnson?

Why would Harbaugh be courted by SF, Denver and Miami?

Not saying he won't or can't be successful. Just saying it's not a lock

I hope you are right, I just don't want SF to be like the 80's again. I hate the 49ers and their fans, bunch of arrogant A-holes!

Re: NFL Coaching Rumors and Moves

Nothing against Jim harbaugh but he won't bring a dynasty to sf unless he gets a QB like manning. Those days in today's NFL are over except NE an that's just because their unreal.. I see what your saying about his family background etc.. But like I said earlier Hes never been a HC in the NFL, the players are boss in the league it's not college kids anymore. Does that mean you can't be successful?? Heck no but it makes it harder.
