I think the contracts matter, and its' a big reason why Dallas shouldn't have an optimistic future.

Getting Romo back is going to make them an above .500 team because he's that good. And Dez Bryant looks like the truth. But every other problem they've shown this year hasn't been solved by a coaching change. Wade was never the problem there until, perhaps, the very end.

On a personal level, I have actually met Rex Grossman and am happy to see him getting another shot, if only for three games. The analyst in me says he sucks and that there's nothing here to see, but the football fan in me wants the analyst to be wrong. If that makes sense.

I have no expectations for Sunday, which I think makes me anticipate the game a lot more. If McNabb was playing, the expectation would have been victory over a crappy Dallas team.
i would love nothing but to be proven wrong on rex as well, just do't see it happening. i never actually got to see the one guy i wanted to see have a shot in this offense, cb5.

i know they matter i was just speaking on talent alone, and young talent. the majority of their play makers were all drafted by the team as well, which is somehting i envy

edit: and as far as wade being the problem i think if a fan of any team can understand who/what the main culprit is in dallas i think it's a skins fan

The only thing left to cap off this drama is for Rex to light up the Cowboys. You just know it's gonna happen.

Honestly with that BAD Defense Dallas has, I wouldn't be shocked if Rex plays well

Where McNabb's achilies heel is dirt balls, Grossmans is his consistent ability to fumble the football once every 20 snaps. That's right, not passes, snaps.

I'm fully expecting Rex to tear it up, win three straight, we're feeling great going into 2011, and he'll tank lol...

I honestly think the best thing for this franchise is probaboly to lose the last three games, and get a solid draft pick in the first and second rounds (Probaboly two picks in the top 40), try to dump McNabb for a 3rd or 4th to maybe Arizona? Hayneworth for whatever, and try to recoup a couple of those higher mid round picks we've lost and try our best to have a full draft.

Re: Its Dallas Sucks Week

We should end up with a good pick, I can't see us winning more than 1 of these last 3, and losing all of them is a distinct possibility

I hear you. Danny Wuerfell is probably the nicest athlete I've ever met, but damn if I didn't want him off the team. Part of the reason I root so much for Chase Daniel is when I got to see how good a guy he is. I've never met Grossman, but I have heard many members of the media, particularly in Chicago, say they wish Grossman was there than Cutler bc RG was always very respectful and professional even in the toughest of times

Re: Its Dallas Sucks Week

Well, after reading the Dallas' players comments once they found Grossman would be starting, I'm slightly less enthusiastic about our chances, but I won't ever not watch a game simply because I disagree with a move the Redskins did. I've got 3 more Redskins games to watch before I have to wait another 8 months to see another one, so I won't pass up the opportunity. If we do lose out I won't be too disappointed, if anything I don't want Grossman to perform like a Pro Bowler so I can't get hyped up about him possibly returning next season.

I actually really believe that our offense will look better....but Dallas will come out on fire on their end.

Also, if there's one thing fantasy football is good for, it is that it shows that yards aren't as important as touchdowns. It's a fact that while McNabb has plenty of yards, all the other qbs near him in yardage ranking has more passing TDs than him. In fact, he has fewer TDs than Mark Sanchez.

The other thing is that it's not like the RBs are just vulturing TDs from him with great rushing efficiency. The touchdowns just aren't being scored.

I think that's more on the weaknesses of our receivers in the red zone and weakness of our running game than anything McNabb can control, but it's still a major issue.
