Re: Brad Childress Fired

Our fans need to stop saying "we will crush their ass"/I'm like really?

We have 5 wins
all of them were 6 pt's..or less
2 of those 5 were in Overtime
3 of those 5 were by 3 pt's or less

I'm at the point now, that if the Vikings had hired all the characters from "Idiocracy" and staffed the whole team with them....They would somehow make it a close game against us as well.

"Welcome to the Vikings..I Love you"
"Where's the time machine?" (he's been benched)

We need to get this win,no matter who's coaching or who's the QB.
and I don't care if it's another Overtime victory..
I'll take it.

Wonder if the protection will hold up against that DLine?

Bad thing. Leslie Frazier should have been a head coach a long time ago. At the very least he should have been a shoe in for the Buffalo job. We already saw what Garrett has done for the Cowboys so we can only hope that the same thing doesn't happen with us against the Vikings.

I agree, although they said Favre is starting this week, so one can hope he will stay set in his INT ways.

Screw that, I say we send his ass into retirement for once and for all.

Players tend to kick it up a notch to keep the blame away. It's a tough game to win.

We'll see... I mean I don't think we have played a team this year that gave a bad effort or didn't play hard.. It's the NFL, they're all going to be tough games... I'll admit though, I'd rather this have waited until next week. I'm just glad we're at home...

Could go either way, but with Favre's comments after the game I would lean towards a total collapse. The Packers were their main obstacle to the division crown and the Pack destroyed them. Even Chicago has a big edge over them. Doesn't matter who the QB will be, both are substandard. The Vikings were total idiots for getting rid of Rosenfels. WE get a great pass rush and we should be in good shape.

Uhhhuuuh. Like we always get a great pass rush. O wait....the Mannley duo isn't here...

Re: Brad Childress Fired

We should not get too cocky. Every time a struggling or "bad" team has faced us, they have had a lights out game on the way to giving us a 1st class whooping.

By standards, Favre will throw for 300 yds, 4 TD's. AP will get 150 rushing...

We need to be careful.

Re: Brad Childress Fired

Scariest part of this gamer for me will be the opening drive for the both teams. If they come out and start playing well and get their groove back we could be in a for a looooong day. If we can stuff them early they will hopefully lay down and die!

Of course, we will do that and then Tavaris will play lights out in relief...
