WTF is a woman doing in a mens locker room anyway? Do male reporters go into WNBA locker rooms to get stories? If they don't then it is a double standard. I am going to the female locker room at Bally's to get their reaction on my position right now.

Re: Jets being investigated for harassment of female Mexican reporter

i think reporters know the balance of locker room etiguette, the do's and donts', whats acceptable in that environment and what is not.

i think the fact that other reporters found the jets players behaviors to be offensive or wrong leads me to believe this was more than normally expected in the locker room.

im torn thoo. she clearly has assets she likes to show off, its probably what got her the job (i know thats sexist to suggest, i accept that). i mean, this isnt your normal piece walking through. this woman is a cousin of j lo and shakira and were are talking about holding some rich 20-30 somethign year old athletes who chase and bag amazing tail to act respectfully to a woman looking like that in their locker room?

its a bit of throwing a hen in a fox den.

but if other people who are in that environment all the time found the actions to be beyond the level of decency expected in locker rooms, then I have to side with that notion. but come on? that woman in an nfl locker room? that might be asking too much of these relatively undisciplined, no respect, millionaires who view themselves above reproach.

ps - i heard a sports radio guy talking about this. he says when you ask a female reporter if she ever checks any guys out they get offended and say "oh no, i would never do that, Im a professional!". then they will go on to talk about every players junk.

if a female reporter chimes in and says female reporters never look, im calling BS.

I have the feeling that what CP said is some how going to come back against him. Maybe a fine or something for speaking the truth. I know everytime I stand naked in front of a women they get all turned on and my body is not quite in the same shape of football players.

Re: Jets being investigated for harassment of female Mexican reporter

This is an easy problem to fix, no press in locker rooms after a game.
We do not allow reporters in the locker room after a game.
Regardless of where we stand with opposite sex reporters in locker rooms, locker room interviews is a stupid idea to being with. Players especially on the losing team are usually pretty pissed and usually don't want a reporter asking why they lost.
I remember several occasions of players having to be restrained from kicking the shit out of a reporter.
Time for this BS to end.

LOLOLOLOL First down you are killing me!
I agree with Clinton and everyone else here.... why are men or women reporters allowed in the locker rooms? Can these guys not have any privacy? This is a stupid story that we shouldn't even be talking about if the rules of common decency applied.

Re: Jets being investigated for harassment of female Mexican reporter

I am all for anti sexual harrassment in the work place, but here's the deal...it's a LOCKER ROOM! Are male reporters allowed in female locker rooms when the women are half naked? Of course not, so why is it OK for females to be in Men's locker rooms? So here is the solution...WAIT UNTIL THEY ARE OUT OF THE LOCKER ROOM AND PROPERLY DRESSED and this won't happen.
You can't tell me she doesn't know exactly what she is doing. She dresses like she's ready to hit the club and find a guy, and then upset when people notice. Is there a place in this world that a guy can just be a guy? I was always taught the locker room was for the players. They can talk about whatever, they can get in scuffles, they can cuss, spit, fart...whatever...why should these players be taken away from that? Men are naturally sexual beings, but we are constantly forced to surpress that. As long as there was no touching, I say it's a locker room, and it is what it is. If you don't like it, don't go in there. I don't stick my hand in the mouth of an aligator then get pissed at the aligator for biting me!

With this and his Vick comments from a couple years back, I doubth the league office is thrilled.

Having been in locker rooms with female reporters, even attractive ones I would say...it can be very difficult for them. But it's not just in the locker room. It's in that general environment.

That said most of the time the interaction is ultimately very professional. I would also say, don't be fooled by someone's dress. I know a few people who dress very professionally yet didn't act that way

Why does anyone "need" to be in there other then people like coches and players, trainers and owners?Stand in the Hall until they all come out or catch on the field....players need to be able to calm down ....relax.

This is exaclty why I would never cut it in the "Corporate" world. I didn't find anything wrong with him speaking the truth.

They "need" to be there so Joe the fan (and Joan the fan) want to know what's happening all the time. If you think otherwise, you wouldn't be on a message board.

Also there is a 10-15 minute period post game before reporters are allowed in

And male reporters are allowed in wnba locker rooms
