If signing Prioleau will mean the end of Bowen's weekly column in the Washington Times, great! Ryan Clark did a solid job filling in last year. I just don't recall a INT made by our safeties other than Sean Taylor. Prioleau's numbers don't promise that that'll change.

He won't get you a lot of INT's but he seems to be alright with tackles, forced fumbles, pass defensed etc. considering his limited playing time. Also with his speed I'm sure GW will be blitzing him a lot.

This guy has been a career back up. What makes anyone think he'll even start? Gregg Williams had him and he didn't do shit.

In Williams' D, almost everyone is a starter.

Special teams and depth. Williams likes him, that's good enough for me.

I dont think he will start out of the gate. He will have to compete for it. But with the loss of Antonio Pierce, our coach on the field, wouldn't it be helpful to have a safety out there that is comfortable making adjustments to a defense he has two years experience in?

And all the sacasm with the lost of Franz? At least another team valued him. He was good on special teams too. We need a guy who isn't going to be beat deep.

Re: Redskins sign Prioleau

I'm sure that either Bowen or Taylor will go down some time next year. It will be good to have a guy with a couple of years of experience in GW defense to be there when it happens.
