Re: The Official 2010 Training Camp Thread
what surprised me the most was that galloway and wade werent on the depth chart at all, even though they've supposedly been getting most of the reps with the 1st team (along with tana).

Not sure why he was not signed. That is a thank less job until you screw up and then everyone who never knew you to start with hates you. I don't mind giving up a roster spot to know some who will touch the ball 6 to 10 times a game gets the job done.

Re: The Official 2010 Training Camp Thread
I think this could be a positive, as DT and MK could get a lot of playing time in preseason. MS may have purposely lowered their positions as a final warning and to create an opportunity to see them play it out. We will see how they do.
Or they could just suck and get cut.

I don't know if Red Snapper could play on the o-line or not? On a separate note: 3rd string Eric Cook the rookie center broke his right wrist during the final week of training camp in 2007 (New Mexico), and taught himself to snap with his left hand the rest of the season when he played center. Tough guy. 2nd string Center Kory Lichtensteiger: was named a finalist for the Rimington Trophy (nation’s best center) and a first-team all-conference choice as a senior. Posted the highest blocking consistency (85.6 percent) of any center in the country during his time at Bowling Green State according to NFLDraftScout.com. You throw in Edwin Williams and it looks like we have some decent talent on the bench....for once. |

I think he still may be back by the time the season starts espicially if the young guy continues to struggle. Smoot had eluded to this earlier in this post.

Re: The Official 2010 Training Camp Thread
I'm always looking for stuff to read when it comes to our skins.. Living in OK, everything is Dallas or KC.. I like was Shef is saying about Haslett, my father-in-law (PLOWBOYS FAN) is insisting that Haslett will let us down. I doubt that will happen.

EVERY SINGLE player interview I have seen (and that is many) regarding the Defense says....Haslett has this group believin' and fired up in an ATTACKING Defense......cannot wait! With all due respect...WTF does Father in law know? He's a DAMN Boys fan. HTTR

Re: The Official 2010 Training Camp Thread
“We’re throwing a lot at him,” offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan said. “He’ll have a couple good days and a couple bad days. That’s what you expect from any quarterback in camp, but especially one that’s new. You want him to make some of these mistakes so he can learn from them.”
