Re: What Position Has Seen the Most Talent

Just thought I'd slide this in here.

As a receiver, either Jerry Smith or Cooley. Blocking TE, without question, Don Warren.

Look at Rabach in the shotgun if you want to appreciate Albright.

He played some O-line too.

I wasn't taking anything away from him I just don't think that I would classify him as a Offensive Lineman. He was more of a specialist in my mind. I mean his blocking only led to one offensive TD by Hunter Smith. Then again he did snap and block for every field goal and XP attempt; As well as every punt. I still don't know if I would classify him as an offensive lineman though...what the hell, his jersey number was in the 50's right?

He wore different numbers over his career. The one I remember first is #67, also #71...may have been others.

What I was getting at was that he wore an Olineman number. So I will categorize him as an Olineman if for no other reason. There is no denying that he was good at what he did I just would not consider him a punishing blocker or anything.
