Re: Drunk Thread

It should be fun. We're not doing Vegas or anything crazy. Just me and my closest friends heading up to Baltimore for the O's game, and then to some bars/strip clubs afterwards. I've never been a strip club guy (I think they're pretty gross actually), but the bachelor party is about what your boys want, not what the groom wants. Only one of the guys in our group other than me is in a serious relationship, so they are all pumped for some T&A.

My fiancee is so awesome. She said, "have fun and do whatever you want. But you're taking a shower as soon as you walk in the door tomorrow tonight." LOL.

What's everyone planning on drinking this weekend?

I've been hooked on margaritas lately. Cuervo, Cointreau, lime juice. Working on getting the perfect ratios, think I'm closing in on a winner.

I am thinking beer only, definitely drinking tonight with some hockey on!

GM do not under any circumstances go to the redlight district on baltimore avenue. it is a block of straight strip clubs with girls with stretch marks and bullet holes. if you do go redlight district, go to hustlers club. ive never been there but it seems the nicest of the 10 or so places there.

i would recommend Club Ritz on broadway in fells point or this other place just off 83 which seems real high end. i dont know the name. ive never been there but on the weekends they will have celeb pron stars strip and what not so it seems the most clean and high end.

club ritz is nice, really hot girls, no sleeze, with a VIP area on the 2nd floor.

then you are right in fells point and can go to my favorite watering hole, the blarney stone, chris should be bartending, great guy and tender, he is frineds with the actor who plays charlie on always sunny in phily. he went to chris' wedding on halloween in balmore this past year.

after that i would mozy on down a couple blocks to thames street and make a left where they have cats eye pub (awesome live music, im talking blues rock n roll bands who kick some serious ass). you have leadbetters which will also have a live band but it is much smaler, dirtier but has a good vibe to it.

taps has a ton of beers from all over the world. were tlaking over 200 beers so a micro brew lover whould love this place.

green turtle is lame but a friend of mine bartends and serves there. they have beer pong upstairs. i think phils (next to blarney) has beer pong too.
you get a discount at green turtle if you bring your Os ticket stub.

if you want any info or any questions regarding baltimore and where to go just pm me. theres a restaurant called peters inn which has they best steak ive ever had. the actor jimmy fallon loves teh steak there. it costs 25 bucks and they have an awesome seasonal menu. the owner/cook is quite the bitch but she makes sure everything is perfect when it comes out.

Matty- the trick is, instead of using rose's lime or any other store bought pre-made lime juices, muddle fresh lime wedges. It's SOOO much better. Also, a dash of OJ before you shake the margarita is key. Give it a try and let me know. Cheers!!

I think he has said in the past he only uses real lime juice that he squeezes.

Yeah I usually use fresh juice, in a pinch the store stuff gets it done. Haven't tried OJ though, sounds good!

You ever go "gran gold" style and float a little Grand Marnier on the top? Delicious.

i've been using cuervo silver, contreau, splash of lime juice, splash of oj, and splash of crystal light lemonade. after two or three it's just a crystal light and tequilla i get lazy fast.

as for this weekend it's supposed to be amazing here and my cousin is having a grad party/bbq so i'm gonna have to go pick up some beer not sure what yet. probably grab some dogfish ipa, or some stone ipa, i've been drinkin the crap outta rollin rock lately when i drink beer. it's been mostly red wine and mix dranks though got the beach in two weeks

I haven't but I'm buying what you're selling. Wish it was 7pm right about now rather than 2pm. Sigh.

Re: Drunk Thread

I figure the Laid Back King of Chill would have a good recipe, so I follow his:

Jimmy Buffett's Perfect Margarita

Crushed ice
3 wedges lime
2 ounces gold tequila (Cuervo 1800)
1/2 ounce tequila (Cuervo white)
1 1/4 ounces Rose's Lime Juice
1/2 ounce triple sec (Bols)
1 splash orange Curacao (Bols)

Put all ingredients except the 3 lime wedges into a shaker. Squeeze 2 of the lime wedges into the shaker. SHAKE WELL! Rim outside of glass only with lime. Salt only the outside of the glass. Add fresh crushed ice to glass. Strain mixture over ice. Squeeze remaining lime wedge in glass.
