Plus JC had a horrible OL to play behind, a bad HC, a bad scheme, and not as good of WR's. The only consulation I can think of is Shanahan will have a better system, coached up WR's, hopefully a decent OL. |

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
No one, maybe except Brady has done more with less. I think McNabb is going to make these guys better, something JC simply could not do. I still can't belive Philly traded him inside the division. Crazy.

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
Do we have a QB for this year and next year? Yes. We will get a future QB, doe snot have to be Bradford. I heard college QBs enter the draft every year and are supposed to be franchise QBs but they aren't. That's just a riumor I heard. Now for those wanting Sage and all there other clowns. How can you compare Sage to Mc Nabb?

People always think this, but it never works. Reid is no idiot. He'll change things up appropriately.

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
wow....i sat down after i head the news...read the 27 posts of comments when i got home, tried to let it sink in as i tossed and turned....
and i am still completely in shock. Not in a bad way...we have for the first time in a long time a qb that is unequivocally the starter. Something that we have needed for a very very long time. I love it. For all you that wanted Jc to be the man - he was a classy guy, but being nice doesnt equate to tds |

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
I think when people look at McNabb's stats over the past few years, keep in mind that the Eagles had a very one dimensional, pass happy offense. Second, Andy Reid's play calling has left a lot to be desired recently.
It can't be stressed enough that Shanahan will implement a more balanced attack that will take some of the pressure off McNabb. He's going to be in entirely different situation here with the Redskins. |

Donovan McNabb: Career Stats Jason Campbell: Career Stats We shouldn't even be talking about these 2 in the same sentence. One guy is one of the top guys in the league, the other guy we can't even give away at this point. Stats aside, anyone who tries to say that JC is in the same ballpark as McNabb is simply kidding themselves. |

CRedskinsRule,

Kyle sounds like a coach who will take chances. Will want to pass the ball. Mike Shanahan was more of a HC that liked to run the ball. The good news is the blocking scheme was the same under Alex Gibbs for both coach's. So mixing both will not be to bad an issue as it was with our Joe Gibbs running mixed with Zorn's/Holmgrens passing attack. |

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!
How many people who voted that they didn't want McNabb here in Washington are now voting that they approve of the trade. 57 to 25 not wanting him here and yet now 20 - 6 approve this trade. I don't get what changed from Friday's poll to this morning's other than the trade actually took place.
