Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!

So does this mean that McNabb wants to come here? I thought he was against going to the Raiders...and maybe the Rams? I thought he wanted to go to Minny or AZ. And isn't he on the last year of his contract?

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!

I love it. Nothing changes your fortunes like a QB. Keep in mind, nobody keeps INTs to a minimum like Donovan McNabb. I can find stats to back that up all day long.

Football is about turnovers. The 3-4 defense is designed to create them, and few QBs minimize them like Donovan does.

Is this insane or what. I'm talking to a friend who's a Philly fan and she's pissed.

McNabb apparently wanted to come to D.C. Interesting.

Hmmm, perhaps he'll break the Heath Shuler curse on jersey #5? After all, Colt didn't....

I think he's got longer than that. 3-5 quality seasons. He keeps himself in good shape.

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!

I would imagine that there's no way we'd trade for him unless he was amenable to a contract extension with us. I'm sure we've already got a deal in place to extend him.

can't draft a lineman now right? how is this diff than drafting a lineman with the 1st and a QB with the 2nd as far as our line plan?

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!

GREAT move! we are set at QB for the next 5 years. now we have plenty of time to fill our myriad of other needs and draft a franchise QB in 3-4 years. best QB we've had in twenty years.

My snark wasn't directed at you, rather, pretty much everywhere at once.

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!

this move doesn't rule out a project like Lefevour or Snead -_-

though it's not what we all wanted, it's still out there

Re: McNabb a REDSKIN!

I have to admit I've been a McNabb fan going back to his SU days. Can't wait to get a #5 jersey.
