Re: Sam Bradford's pro day workout should clear up top of NFL draft

Well, I mean, you can't trade up ahead of the Rams, so you'd have to either make them an offer they can't refuse (and I really mean an obvious headscratcher), or you just have to call their bluff.

I personally feel that Bradford is going to benefit greatly from going to one of the weakest divisions, where his contributions can be felt immediately. Whether he ultimately succeeds as a player depends on how well the Rams put talent around him. But they've got a decent foundation there.

I am willing to give them Andre Carter, Jason Campbell, and this years and next years first round draft choice.

If that is not enough throw in this years second

Probably doesn't get it done, unless they are just lukewarm on the Bradford/Suh/McCoy options.

That's a trade we could win, but only if Bradford ended up being the next coming. I'm on record saying that he's no ones savior.

are you kidding me? who would block for him? in your scenario, we take him, and then wait until the 4th to draft again? no thanks.

That would get it done...but now you don't have a team.

I mean, in a world where the only things that matter are Sam Bradford jersey sales, you've done well for yourself. In a world where wins and losses matter, you've ensured about four or so additional losses, even if Bradford pans out.

Next years free agent class will be off the hook. If he is the next superstar QB, I would give the entire Draft this year and next.

WOW. I feel much better knowing that people were simply saying I had a man crush and needed to get over it.

I like Bradford and I too belive we need to find a way to pick him up. Simply due to his accuracy. But I don't think I'd give up the farm for him.

I'd like to think giving JC helps out the Rams QB issue, giving them Carter helps out their D-line, Giving them the #4 pick either enables them to pick up Clausen, McCoy, or Tebow at #4 or a lineman they need either defense or offense. I might even throw in next years 1st rounder but no way do I throw in our #2 or any more of this yrs draft to get him. The numbers as some of you like to point out would not match. Although what price do you put on a franchise QB?

One media outlet pointed out that he was the best QB they have seen since Troy Aikman. I wasn't fascinated with him but will say he wasn't a bad QB for a Cowgirl.

Which, again, is good for only jersey sales, and the Cowboys/Eagles/Giants who get two more pushover wins on their schedule.

And then, ultimately, he's not the next superstar QB, if for no other reason than you traded the house for him. Remember Ricky Williams, superstar Saints running back who would lead them to a super bowl by himself.

It really was a treat to watch, and I think everyone here was in awe of Bradford’s performance. In fact, he put on the best quarterback workout by a draft prospect that I’ve seen since I watched a private workout Troy Aikman put on for us with the Cowboys in California.

You have a man crush and need to get over it. Especially since it's hard to be a fan of the Redskins while rooting for Sam Bradford of the Rams to vindicate you.

There's still a chance Bradford could be available at No. 4. It's not a good chance, and it's not even really a good value, but it's not unreasonable to hope he falls. It's just unlikely.

I am convinced that T.O Killa is Mike Ditka in disguise. No way in the world would I give up that much to get one player.

RT@AdamSchter Interesting point by ESPN draft guru Todd McShay: The difference between QB Sam Bradford going No. 1 or No. 4 is roughly $15 million.

T.O.killa realizes that Redskins have not had a QB, since Thiesman.

You should realize that you would suck as a GM too, as most of us would.
