It appears that Albert Haynesworth's absence was "excused" after all.

As Comcast SportsNet's Kelli Johnson originally reported, Haynesworth missed last week's offseason workouts at Ashburn though he did participate in Monday's orientation. However, according to a report in The Washington Post, the Redskins knew that their $100-million man was not planning on working out last week.
