LOL as long as my boss doesn't figure out, it's all good. (and for the record i normally get 10 to 20% effective work done so 0 would be a bit of a departure!)

I don't see why the big hangup with Bradford/Clausen. A ton of good, solid QBs coming out this draft. We could draft a guy in say the 4th round and still get a great QB. There is around a dozen QBs available that have the potential to become solid pros. I rather build a great line and then draft a kid from a second tier school than waste a first round pick and not properly address the o line. Our first two picks should be o linemen. Samuels and Thomas need to retire.
and this is where we differ.... I'd rather draft a QB that has more potential of becoming a franchise QB in a shorter amount of time and build the OL at the same time.

Honestly there is about only 2 worthy of that, Bradford and Clausen. Then there is a drop off to which the rest have physical characteristics that need to be worked on or changed. Lets look at it this way.... if your willing to forgo the QB position for OL and take a second tier QB then you might as well stay with JC. Which I know is what some of you want but I'm tired of second tier QB's or QB's that need a lot of coaching up. Lets get our franchise QB this draft since next year I have to expect us to do better then 4-12 which will push us farther down the draft poll and again getting stuck with second tier QB's that have to be coached up.

There is not much difference in the second tier QB's. All bring something different to the table but each will need to be coached up for a couple of years. Unless the staff is enamored with JC he's gone next year. Our coached up QB won't be ready if he's simply a second tier QB...look at JC, 6yrs in the league and we are still coaching him up.

I agree. Outside of Bradford or Clausen, I don't see anyone who would be an improvement on what we already have. I say draft a QB at #4 or make QB a very low priority.

There in lies your problems....

You should go up river... everyone knows all the great fish is up river unless your looking for catfish, which are usually eating trash down river at the bottom.

NFL Videos: Bradford vs Clausen

According to Casserly and the other guy, they both say that Bradford is the exact type of QB that Mike Shanahan would want. If what they're saying is true and he's Mikes guy for sure, then do you all see us moving up to get Sam at No. 1? I could see us trading Jason and Rocky as well as our 1st rounder for their 1st rounder.

This pic is such a nice and accurate representation of Georgia. Weird 80's sunglasses, plad pants, American flag (though sometimes it's paired with the confederate flag), everyone holding a red cup, blonde southern bells. Everyone of those girls are most likely a die hard conservative. The girl with the sunglasses on the top of her head looks like shes about to pass out.

Some more pics of life in Georgia.

Not that all of this is necessarily bad but to me it feels like sometimes this is all people do, minus the hot girls.

But drafting Okung and then trading up 6 or seven spots from our 2nd round pick and grabbing Campbell, cementing one whole side of our OLine for years to come that still looks like the way to go from my point of view. Then you can still at least give JC his one additional chance, as everyone seems to want to give him a mulligan due to line issues for last season, and still have the option for Locker next offseason.
I agree with you on Locker. I would rather have him than Clausen or Bradford. However, haven't you noticed how much his stock has risen since he decided to stay in school? Now they're projecting him to be the number one pick of next years draft. With Shannahan coaching, there's no way we'll be in a position to draft him.

Re: Jimmy Clausen has met with the Redskins

Here's another thing that terrifies me about Sam Bradford. Whenever I watch him sit back in that spread offense, comfortably in the shotgun with no pass rush, one name comes to mind, Alex Smith. I want someone who's comfortable and effective in both under center and in shotgun formations.

I'd rather Bradford, McCoy etc.. than Clausen in this draft if we had to go QB. What is there to like about this guy and what did he prove so well in college that he deserves a 4th pick??
OK, if you think so. Others have a more informed opinion:

2010 NFL Mock Draft: Kiper pushes Clausen inside the top 5 - ESPN

WalterFootball.com: The NFL Matt Draft - Matt McGuire's NFL Draft Blog

I'd say looking at the chart in the article that Clausen stacks up pretty good against the junior seasons of current NFL elite QBs and a couple of recent high picks.

And what's more impressive, he did it with "small" hands

I saw that to. The thing that I didn't like though was that it was only based on the junior years of guys that went on to have much better senior campaigns. Big Ben is the only one of those QB's that came out after his junior season. But yeah the small hands thing is a little ridiculous.

Because that means we get Okung and convinces the draft a QB crowd that we'll still get a franchise QB. It's a change up from the draft Tony Pike in the 4th argument. Those bastards have no intention of us drafting Locker next year :FIREdevil Still Locker is basically the white Michael Vick. Strong arm, amazing runner, average accuracy.
