what's crazy is that they call orton's rating overinflated due to his short passes... I think that we have the same thing here

except orton can hit a wide open man downfield

Actually, Smoot was playing safety during that second TD. During the first TD, they were playing man coverage.

You'd think our pass defense would hold up for the sake of Madden. I think all the questioning about Landry at FS ia causing lack of confidence. Yes Landry made some mistakes but, he made plays too.
