Things I hate in advertising
"Because you deserve it" No I don't, I'm horrible.
"Finally" Any ad that makes guys look like morons compared to their long suffering and genius wives. "We've extended our Xmas sale" Usually this is around March. Come on! Anyone else have some pet peeves? I can't be the only one, can I? |

On a slightly different tangent, have you ever noticed that every other year or so, a TV theme gets loads of radio play and everybody starts singing it around the office? Why couldn't that song have been Coors Light's "Wingman"?

What is there to like in advertising these days? Ads are all over the damn place, the net is clogged up with pop-ups and pop-unders, a 30 minute TV show has approx 12 minutes worth of commercials, etc.
What really burns me is how many commercial breaks they take during the games. Sometimes it's literally kickoff, commerical, play, commercial, play, commerical. UGH! Football is the perfect sport for TV because of all the breaks in action, but it just seems like each year they manage to cram more and more commercials in. Drives me nuts sometimes. The whole stadium names is really depressing too. I miss the days of Candlestick Park, RFK, Jack Murphy, The Kingdome, Mile High, etc. The stadiums had character back then, now they've been sterilized with corporate names. I'll get off my soapbox now, LOL. |

So Matty when are you going to make the official announcement that we're now "AT & T presents The Warpath" with the "Under Armour Locker Room" and the "Honda Parking Lot"
