Sorry I forgot all about the trophies Reese has collected. Reese does have a solid resume in spite of some serious draft blunders and considerable salary cap mismanagement (which makes the whole thing of him working on contracts with the Patriots a bit odd). That said he's one of the best at what he does (though it's interesting how he went begging around the league since September really and never got a job, even this is really just consulting)

But anyway, I get that this is a Redskins fan site, but I though maybe, just maybe, we could talk about another team's front office move without another "we suck" thread evolving from it.

I must confess. I don't know squat about Reese so I had to go after our front office which now that I think about it I don't know squat about them. What does this Vinny guy do and isn't Snyder in charge of parking lot Porta Poties and thats why everyone hates on him? I personally just open a car door screw waiting in line to pee.

C'mon Smoot. It's not all about collecting trophies. Reece did field competitive playoff teams year after year and did it by building through the draft. His record isn't perfect but no GM hits on all his picks. Since Lewis Riddick was fired why not bring in an experienced guy like Reece? It can't hurt. I guess that would be stepping on Vinny's toes.

How do you know this? Are you 100% sure? Did you talk to Reese? Please tell us.

The trophies comment was in response to another post. And I did say that Reese is one of the best at what he does. And it's Reese. And people would just say we're wasting him anyway as long as Cerrato is here.

Yes I talked to Reese this psst weekend and he confirmed that he would never work for our front office. Not really, but these front office post are getting old and it seems people post stuff like they have talked to people who confirmed they would never come here because of our front office.
