Re: Favorite Song of 2008?
Single of the year is Swagga Like Us, no question. Best album was TV on the Radio. If you haven't heard Dear Science yet, you need to do yourself a favor and buy it.

Re: Favorite Song of 2008?
I don't really have a best song of the year, but for me the best album of the year was:
The Bedlam in Goliath by The Mars Volta |

Re: Favorite Song of 2008?
I know this song didn't come out in 2008, but for me the best song I've heard for the first time all year was Apocalyptica's cover of The Unforgiven by Metallica. It's been around at least 10 years but I have to say I never heard it until now but I absolutely love it. If you haven't heard it go check it out. Apocalyptica (before their new stuff came out) was known for doing covers of Metallica songs, but they did them by playing the cello. Go listen to it, especially if you are a fan of symphonies.

Re: Favorite Song of 2008?
I don't really listen to anything on the radio. I'm more into Blue (New) Grass and Southern Rock, so anything I like, you either, haven't heard of, or it was out 30 years ago.
I guess if I had to pick something...it would be that Kid Rock song, Whiskey From the Bottle (is that what it's called?) ...*edit* All Summer Long |

I really liked I Can't Stay by The Killers and Strawberry Swing by Coldplay.

Shamefully, I must admit I liked the Bartender song.
