Re: F... Finals.
whats more pressure? making sure your family has food, or getting a passing grade on a mid term?

Re: F... Finals.
Dmek -- That's taking things to extremes. I'd say a passing grade is a midterm is more pressure for most people. Most people with jobs can at least provide food for their families.

Re: F... Finals.
If I could do it over, give me college and those 2-3 classes a day over working 8 hours a day. College was a breeze, and of course the social scene was pretty nice too.

Re: F... Finals.
finals week, working is better
any other time in college, college is better with that said.. A job could be easier then college simply becuse most jobs it is the same thing day in and day out once you master your job you are pretty much on cruise control. I ncollege your "work" is always changing and you are being tested on how well you do that "work"

Re: F... Finals.
If I had to choose between working a register for 8 hours or writing an 8-10 page paper on the Nio Guardian figures and why/how they fit into the Japanese Kamakura Style of art and comparing and contrasting them with other works from the period...
... Hand me the register.

Re: F... Finals.
This has truly got to be a "grass is greener" argument. Each day brings new challenges, and opportunities for stress. I have a degree in Comp Sci, plus MS cert, College all-nighters were "fun", but getting semester breaks etc compensated. Right now, I work 7am-6pm most days, plus on call whenever but bring home a steady income. I would say both sides are right. and wrong.

Re: F... Finals.
Most semesters my finals were cake. Mostly projects and papers. However when it rains it pours. My dumb ass waited a bit too long to start the job search too.

Re: F... Finals.
They're over. The last one was BRUTAL. Ran out of time with 6 questions left. UGH. Another semester is possible. This would be the worse time to fail the first class of my life.

Re: F... Finals.
Hope all you young guys did well on the finals. Keep at it till you get done.
Imagine working full time, then doing a full load of classes at night. No fun, plus the "scenery" is nowhere near as nice with 30-50 somethings in class.
