Get ESPN Insider for $4/year
A subscription to ESPN Magazine gets you free insider access. This website gets you the magazine for $4/year (if you use coupon code FATHERSDAY08 - otherwise it's $5/year) . I've ordered magazines from here in the past without any problems. Of course, YMMV.

Re: Get ESPN Insider for $4/year
F#ck! My credit card just got "re-billed" for $39.95 for the next 12 months of ESPN the mag/Insider. Wish I had known about this.

Re: Get ESPN Insider for $4/year
wired for 9$ is good too.
science news and scientific american (both amazing) are 55$ and 35$ a year though, which is still pretty expensive :/ and then there's this: Wood Digest Magazine Subscriptions | Mags Almost Free wtf? |

Re: Get ESPN Insider for $4/year
With these deals for cheap or free subcriptions, ALWAYS cancel before the renewal. That's where they will more than make up for the original price.
Usually if you can find the fine print, it will tell you how much you'll get robbed for. It's like those deals for half a dozen Dr. Seuss books for $1.99 or whatever they charge now...they'll start shipping single books to you for $25 every month if you don't cancel right after you get your cheap books.

Re: Get ESPN Insider for $4/year
I think I ordered PC Magazine from here, and my renewals have been the same price. I'm not 100% certain, though.
Good point, though.

Re: Get ESPN Insider for $4/year
ESPN Insider is ok for some stuff but overall I'm not sure that it's worth it. I've always found the magazine to be pretty boring too.

Re: Get ESPN Insider for $4/year
When FHM folded (which I liked better than Maxim, but Maxim has definitely brought back their quality), I had the offer to get ESPN for the remainder of my subscription. I didn't renew ESPN...it's just not up to snuff for me. But 4 bucks a year is a good deal to get access to the mag and Insider...
