In case anyone is interested in Season Tickets, just got this updated email.

I left you a voice message this morning. I called to thank you for signing up on our waiting list for season tickets. I’m also excited to tell you that you’re invited to skip that LONG waiting list and join us immediately with a premium seating membership. Our premium seating truly provides the absolute best in Redskins seating and entertainment.

REDSKINS PREMIUM SEATING VIDEOS

Only a 10% down payment is required to pick out and secure your seats. You’ll receive your choice of a free, autographed Chris Cooley or Jason Campbell jersey as well as a $100 gift card to Morton’s Steakhouse or our Redskins Store.

Right now, we’re inviting you to make the calls:

You pick your seats.
You pick your free, autographed Jersey (Chris Cooley or Jason Campbell)
You pick your $100 gift card (Redskins store or Morton’s Steakhouse)
You design your payment plan.
Below is some basic information regarding premium seating. Take a look at the different seating options as well as the videos.

I. Joe Gibbs Club Level – ($2,800 - $4,650 per seat per season)

· Enjoy the best sightlines FedExField has to offer. Outdoor seating with access to an indoor, climate-controlled environment complete with deep leather chairs, huge flat-screen T.V.s, pro shops, two giant sports bars, DC’s largest cigar bar, Hooter’s restaurant, Johnny Rockets, Phillip’s seafood, and other eateries.

II. Dream Seats – (4, 450 per seat per season)

· Some of the most envied seats in pro sports, first three rows of the stadium! You and your guests will experience the excitement of the NFL from a whole new perspective. Additionally, amenities include complimentary food and drink at your seats and access to the Club Level concourse before, during, and after the game.

Stadium Diagram: Washington Redskins

Premium memberships are leased for 6, 8, or 10 seasons. You are free to sell or transfer your membership at any time. You pay one season at a time, and can utilize our payment plan. Your membership will be price-protected and can only increase by a maximum of 3-6% annually, depending on the length of your membership.

Keep in mind that this type of seating is more than just football tickets. You would be investing in a membership to a club, one proven to pay for itself both personally and professionally. These tickets turn going to a Redskins game into an all-day event, as club members come early and stay late to fully take advantage of FedexField’s best bars, restaurants, parties, and networking opportunities.

Please call me at the numbers below with any questions or to place your order. I look forward to speaking with you soon.

This has been their deal for 5 years now. They can't sell the club level stuff so they bribe you to do it by promising regular season tickets. The problem is that the club level tickets are just ridiculously expensive for what you get. You basically get middle of the road seats with couches and TVs inside. I think most fans aren't interested in that. If you just signed up it'll be a good 6-7 years before you sniff regular tickets other than doing this deal.

They had section 335 open at $2800 but 6% on top each year is really expensive. Already $350 per game and that's $468 per ticket in year 6!

Good Lord, I'm not rich but I'd love to be a season ticket holder. I would be driving from NJ so the expenses keep going up up up. Sure my girl would want me to pay since I pay for everything else

Re: In case anyone is interested in Season Tickets, just got this updated email.

I got in on a similar deal 3 years ago(the tailgate package), the upcoming season will be my 4th year having these. The deal was I got to skip the season ticket waiting list and get lower level bowl seats. I got to take a private tour of the stadium (the wife, me, and the sales guy) and he showed us which seats where available. We got to tour the locker rooms, coaches offices, and premium boxes as well. So I guess your wondering what the cost was, heres the breakdown:

$1500 (1 time fee to jump the waiting list)
$99 (Section 129 aisle per ticket per game) X 2
$350 (Red parking per season)
$50 (Tailgate pass per ticket per game, this is the shitty thing)
plus taxes and $20 to have tickets fedexed to you.

If I wasn't stuck with the stupid Tailgate passes for life Id buy these every year, but the extra grand I gotta throw down for a lousy all you can buffet is kinda expensive. Last year the total for our 2 tickets was around $3600 I believe. I love the seats they are great, section 129 on the aisle on the 128 side but the tailgate is the killer and they are near impossible to resell. Otherwise if I were you Id try to get in on this deal if your seriously interested in purchasing tickets. Call that same guy up and tell him you heard about buying the tailgate passes and lower level season tickets, theres no contract. Damn now I sound like a salesman. Good luck.

Thanks. That's better b/c no 6 year contract that goes up 6% each year. I will give him a call and talk turkey. Definately serious about becoming a season ticket holder.

Funny:

When I asked the guy how sales were he said they were picking up now that Fassel's name was out of the mix. SWEAR TO GOD HE SAID THAT. People all over Reskin Nation were pissed off about Fassel, maybe Snyder did back off due to fan kick back? In any case fans love ZORN!

Re: In case anyone is interested in Season Tickets, just got this updated email.

They are always trying to hock those joe gibbs gold level and premier seats, etc. I get at least 3 emails every year and I stand firm in my fight for normal seats. As far as the tailgate passes go, i prefer to grill my own food and drink my own beer outside with the real fans , not a couple of snyder's snobs in the lounge. Sorry but football should be blue collar the way it was in RFK. I wish they would convert some of the club level into normal seats for real football fans who prefer to watch the game in its raw environment not on a plasma tv on a leather couch in a heated lounge. This isn't polo or badmitton you pansies. And those seats are way too expensive. I used to sell beer at the stadium and the club level douches were the worst tippers. Don't know if they didn't know what it was like to earn tips or if they paid so much for the tickets, beer, etc. that they were all tapped out of cash. Anyway there's my rant on FedEx field

Re: In case anyone is interested in Season Tickets, just got this updated email.

my Dad and I had club seats since the stadium opened up until the last two season. we couldnt afford it anymore. The original contracts were different, if you were one of the first people to get tickets it was a fixed price for a ten year contract, those were the 'great deals'. by great i mean you are just paying like 250 a game for ten years...still a lot per ticket. They are constantly trying to get people out of those contracts by upgrading them to dream seats and stuff so their prices can rise.

I agree you shouldnt watch a game live, from a sofa on a tv inside...but what i did like about the club level was we would hang out after the game for a while to watch the other games and stuff, but it was definitly an expensive day..

I don't think people are snyder snobs if they can afford luxury seats. Just wish there were more affordable options for the rest of us!

Im not sure that you have ever been to the tailgate. Its definitely not a snob lounge by any means. Its pretty low brow. I do agree that it is more fun to hang out in the parking lot grilling food and drinking beer but this was my only way to get season tickets and Im glad I did. Obviously I would love to not have to pay the extra grand every season and skip the tailgate but I don;t have the option. About the expensive club level seating, you need to remember that there are alot of corporate accounts that use them or people with too much money. Unfortuantely in the DC market people will continue to pay outrageous prices for tickets and with a waiting list as long as they have this will continue to be the trend until it eventually caps out.

my buddy that works for the skins says that moving tickets is really tough right now...lots of upset skins fans.

as for the tailgate club- avoid at all cost. Its a complete rip off. Its sad becuase it really wouldn't take much effort on the Skin's part to make it a great time. provide better food, and relax the booze prices a bit and you might do better profit wise (volumetrically speaking).

I agree that it wouldn't take much to majorly improve it. I could honestly do without the 'free gift' every game upon entry. The little amount of money you save there upgrade the food a bit. The beer prices are $2 cheaper here than inside the staium but they are still overpriced. But its the best option available IMO because there is no contract and you get lower bowl seating. Otherwise enjoy the view from the top.
